Which left-field game would you love to see reimagined?

Lost Planet. It's a pretty mediocre game, but I think there is an incredible amount of potential there. The shooting felt good if I remember correctly, so all it needs is a half-decent story. The grapple mechanic was dope too.
Lost Planet in general feels like it could use a more focused reboot, a campaign with elements from the best parts of 1 and 3, and keep a multiplayer mode like the 2nd.
Speaking of still annoyed that E.X Troopers never got a localized release (yet it's OST was brought to the west via Amazon and iTunes last I looked)

@dmcmaster Oh crap I totally forgot there was a 3. Didn't it have a bunch of weird RPG elements, or am I thinking of something else?
Your thinking of EX Troopers

@dmcmaster unless there's another one I'm unaware of the Switch game is basically just a port of Legacy of the Duelist, which is a standard yugioh game. Duelists of the Roses is that PS2 game that's completely off the wall.

Tail of the Sun. Sony was making a game called Wild that looked somewhat like a spiritual successor to Tail of the Sun. If someone reimagined this game today, I think it would be a more open ended Breath of the Wild style game. With lots of unique things to discover in the world.
I got one, 90s platformer that might hit some warm and fuzzies.

@darthammii ... Ooga Booga, Dreamcast.
We played a tonne of games on that console... but this is one we couldn’t put down ever. Well, that and SF Rush 2049.

I'd love to see modern remakes or reimaginings of the 3DO Army Men franchise. It kinda got ran into the ground but I think that IP has a lot of potential especially with how well we could render things like Army Men and other toys today... going back some of the models uh...well they didn't age so well haha

The world needs more side scrolling, 3 plain, branching path beatemup RPG fighting games.

I'd like to see P.N. 03 reimagined. The stylish but second-rate Gamecube exclusive by Capcom.
The game's budget clearly skimped on world building, character development, having other characters, etc. The combat has a quirky appeal and doesn't have many equivalents, which makes me believe a dramatic gameplay overhaul would feel perfectly justified. A reimagined game could expand, change, and modify everything without feeling like it was ruining what was there. I know I'd be excited just to see new life breathed into the concept.

The stylish butt
I see what you did there.

Conker's Bad Fur Day please. It was basically Deadpool, but years ahead of it's time.

Kid Icarus Uprising. Its probably impossible though

@bigdude1 Having that on switch would be unbelievable.
Being announced alongside a sequel/new title would be so good.
Actually Uprising with some kind of Splatoon aiming system could easily work on Switch I think.

@dmcmaster the only problem i can see was that kid Icarus was designed for very quick and spastic turning. Especially online.
And the touchscreen/stylus was great for that

very quick and spastic turning
Splatoon's camera reset button is often used for quick 180s by professional players, so that should actually work just fine.
