Steam Summer Sale 2019
-
Hey all, the summer sale is back again, so I figured there should be a topic to highlight some of the best deals. Due to the size of the sale, many great games fly under the radar, so hopefully this thread will shed light on some deals that people are missing out on.
The sale ends July 9th, so we've got 2 weeks to make the most of it

Planning on finally sniping The Banner Saga 3. 50% off!
-
Thank you for reminding me of this, I have just had a look and Two Point Hospital is half price, so gonna indulge when I get home. 👍
-
Ah poo! I bought Wolfenstein II on June 12th for $40 and now it is $20. Can I return it and re-buy? I know Steam returns are pretty chill after all.
-
@naltmank oh man that's something I had forgotten about and I should get around to it, other than that I got me the Civ 6 expansions which I'll probably only play for like 5-10 hours but I hope I can do better than that.
Also I don't know if it is just reginonal pricing that helps me a lot, but GoG is just so much better than Steam pricewise that even with discounts many games in GoG are still cheaper.
-
I opted to buy Vampire and Deus Ex on Steam earlier in the year cause their prices seemed to be better in Canadian Dollars. Funny how that works. I miss the days when Steam just charged USD and I got to buy things cheaper in Canada.
-
@dipset well I'm in the opposite end, for us Steam is a lot cheaper now that when we paid in dollars, but GoG is simply cheaper.
-
@dipset I think it depends on how many hours you have on it.
-
Enough with all these baby deals, Jump Force is 50% off. What are you waiting for? Go get it!
Wha-... yeah but...- oh, you don't want to? Alright then. Carry on.
-
I haven’t played a second of it so I think I’m good. Unfortunately didn’t have time last night to return it.
-
@capnbobamous it was so funny to me seeing people getting hyped about Jump Force, when it was obvious it was gonna be a bad fighting game.
-
@bard91 It's hard not to get hyped for a game with an awesome cast, no matter how bad it looks.
-
@capnbobamous not really when you have seen how this games turn out, it's not like this is the first time there's such a crossover in a throwaway fighting game.
And by that logic I would have been hyped as hell for My Hero Academia's game, except I wasn't knowing it would just be a cash grab, same goes for all the One Piece games and really any anime game in recent memory (except fighterz).
-
@bard91 Then I guess you and I are different in that regard, because I've bitten the bullet on pretty much all of those.
