Completed Games of 2020
-
January - 8
Death Stranding (PS4) - Bad mud texture. Songs are constantly interrupted. Ending is too long. Online feels unnecessary. But traversal is nice. And it's a good illustration of our society that does meaningless things for likes from strangers. Overall it's a good background game like No Man's Sky at launch.
Sayonara Wild Hearts (PC) - Good music and visuals. Great to watch, good to play.
Disco Elysium (PC) - Not having any player guiding ruins this game. At first you don't know what to do, and then you accidentally finish it leaving lot's of quests behind.
Trover Saves the Universe (PC) - Hilarious. Wish I bought PS4 version to play it in VR.
Telling Lies (PC) - Intriguing and captivating. And you can watch all videos outside of the game once you done.
Baba Is You (PC) - Bad tutorials, too many puzzles with same idea.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair (PC) - Good, but beating the Impossible Lair requires trainer.
Return of the Obra Dinn (PC) - No game here, just 3D art gallery.February - 6 + 2 replay
Outlast 2 (PS4) - Nothing memorable.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC, replay) - Holds up!
Indivisible (Xbox one) - Maybe it's not the best platformer, but it's charming and lively. Liked it.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood (PC) - It's OK in its current state.
Quake II RTX (PC, replay) - Looks just as I remember (good), but everything else is outdated.
Dreams (PS4) - Great game, outstanding game creator.
My Friend Pedro (Xbox One) - Fun.
Outer Wilds (Xbox One) - I was wrong when I tried it and dropped it last year. This game is incredible.March - 2 + 1 replay
Two Point Hospital (PC) - Both relaxing and entertaining.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Xbox One) - Navigation and difficulty could be less frustrating, but I loved it.
GTA V (Xbox One, replay) - Barely holds up. At least I heard Tennis Court by Lorde for the first time.April - 2 + 4 replay + 4 DLC
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC, replay) - Great visuals, but struggles with world streaming.
DOOM (2016) (PC) - Wasn't that enjoyable. Rotating with mouse is great, selecting weapons with keyboard isn't.
Control: The Foundation DLC (PC) - Excellent addition to the excellent game for the excellent price.
Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist Of The Handsome Jackpot DLC (PC) - Good DLC for my last year's GotY.
Borderlands 3: Guns, Love & Tentacles DLC (PC) - Also good.
Close to the Sun (PC) - Good environments, but very rough gameplay.
Dragon Age: Inquisition (PC, replay) - Outdated animations and mandatory grind, but still enjoyable.
Mass Effect: Andromeda (PC, replay) - Still have some bugs, but nothing serious. Look gorgeous on new PC. 100% wasn't too fun, but still it's a great game.
Hitman 2 DLC (PC) - More Hitman. Good.
Deliver Us The Moon (PC) - Good game, great production values, confusing story.May - 6 + 3 replay
Filament (PC) - The best puzzle game since The Witness. Maybe even better.
Streets of Rage 4 (PC) - Yep, beat-em-ups aren't for me.
HyperDot (PC) - Nice.
Gears Tactics (PC) - Too long.
The Banner Saga (PC, replay) - If only it was fully voiced. Still great.
The Banner Saga 2 (PC, replay) - If only it was fully voiced. Still great.
The Banner Saga 3 (PC, replay) - If only it was fully voiced and didn't hang several times. Good.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (PC) - Fun for the first time, no interest in replaying.
Journey to the Savage Planet (Xbox One) - I liked it.June - 2 + 3 replay + 2 DLC
Nier: Automata (Xbox One, replay) - Didn't like it the first time, didn't like it now.
The Last of Us (PS4, replay) - Character movement is trash. Can't believe I adored this game.
Call of Duty: WWII (PS4) - Liked it at first, but then it got predictable.
Metro Exodus: The Two Colonels DLC (PC) - Short.
Metro Exodus: Sam's Story DLC (PC) - This one is good.
The Last of Us Part II (PS4) - Masterful.
The Last of Us Part II (PS4, replay) - Survivor+ difficulty isn't a joke. Had to start saving resources multiple chapters prior to the toughest encounters.July - 3 + 1 DLC
DOOM Eternal (PC) - Don't know why, but I wasn't particularly excited while playing it. Also had several bugs: unkillable enemies and unobtainable secrets.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (Switch) - Interesting story, great locations, but the game desperately needs a remaster for modern platform.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch) - No grand locations, confusing story, grind, dull combat. Yet somehow I didn't hate it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country DLC (Switch) - Relaxing experience.August - 3 + 3 replay + 1 DLC
Carrion (PC) - Boring.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (Switch, replay) - Good NG+.
F1 2019 (PC) - Good.
The Last of Us Part II (PS4, replay) - Grounded+ is great.
The Last of Us Part II (PS4, replay) - Permadeath on Very Easy+ with accessibility options is kinda easy.
Battletoads (PC) - I'm not sure.
Control: AWE DLC (PC) - More Control. Great.September - 4 + 2 replay + 3 DLC
3 out of 10 (PC) - Fun.
The Last of Us Part II (PS4, replay) - Showed the game to my dad. He liked it.
Resident Evil 7 (PC) - Not scary and a bit cumbersome, but fun.
Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero DLC (PC) - More of the same.
Tell Me Why (Xbox One) - Great visuals, bad animation, decent story.
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood DLC (PC) - Good.
Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC (PC) - Great conclusion, that pays respect to the cast of the series.
Iron Man VR (PSVR) - Flying feels good, story is ok, visuals are bad, loading is terrible.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PC, replay) - Amazing.October - 3 + 4 DLC + 2 DLC replay
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade DLC (PC, replay) - Amazing.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey The Fate of Atlantis DLC (PC, replay) - Also amazing.
Destiny 2 (Xbox One) - Decent.
Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC (Xbox One) - A bit repetitive.
Destiny 2 Warmind DLC (Xbox One) - Not bad.
Destiny 2 Forsaken DLC (Xbox One) - Too much grind.
Destiny 2 Shadowkeep DLC (Xbox One) - Too much grind.
Forza Motorsport 7 (PC) - Grinding the same tracks is boring.
Katana Zero (PC) - Cool.November - 6 + 1 Early Access
Watch Dogs: Legion (PC) - Much shorter than I expected, but just as fun & playful as I expected. DirectX 12 performance problems are serious, but DirectX 11 works fine.
Baldur's Gate 3 (PC, Early Access) - Fun game. 23 bugs submitted, many more encountered.
Mortal Shell (PC) - Finally, a Souls game I can finish on my own.
Carto (PC) - Too long.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla (PC) - Exploration & side quests are better than in Odyssey, but main quest & the lead aren't. Also the setting isn't as rich as Ancient Greece, and I prefer Odyssey's combat. But the land is beautiful.
Astro's Playroom (PS5) - Haptic feedback is overrated.
Röki (PC) - Nice, but inputting some puzzle solutions takes too long.December - 3 + 2 replay
Half-Life: Alyx (PC VR) - Best VR game I ever played.
Ghost of Tsushima (PS5) - Co-op campaign is fine, everything else is bad.
Cyberpunk 2077 (PC) - I've got incredibly attached to my character and the world she's living in. The game lost a bit of its charm near the end, most likely because I’ve decided to do every side quest before finishing it. Incredible visuals, a new standard for the industry.
Cyberpunk 2077 (PC, replay) - Skipping minor side quests definitely improves the impact of main plotline. And while I wasn’t all emotional during the credits, I was thinking of an excuse to return to this world. I just don’t want to leave this game behind.
Cyberpunk 2077 (PC, replay) - Completed 3rd background and saw final ending.Overall - 48 + 20 replay + 15 DLC + 2 DLC replay + 1 Early Access

I finished a game between last month's post and this month's post and my total is the same. Am I a wizard?
