Last game you finished

  • I finished Here They Lie. Not a great game by any means, but for showing the potential of horror games in VR, it was a fantastic experience. I honestly can't wait for RE7 now.

  • @Billy No unfortunately. I hear its great though so I'll to get it at some point! I'd like to grab it on sale maybe, since I got the main game for $13 I don't want to spend $20 on the dlc haha

  • @Faaip I haven't played it either, so that makes me feel better.

  • Finally did the only thing I don't like in REmake and that's the knife-only run. I died too many times on the first boss that I used the arranged control on bosses. It makes the game much easier although it took me 4-5 minutes to beat it because I missed many times. Not very good with knife-only runs.

I remember back in the day in RE3 Mercenary mode playing as Nikolai and reaching the last area and almost a minute to spare. Between the end and me were almost a dozen of zombies lying on the floor and I tried to force through. Got caught and the run was over because I didn't have any heals left. Only 4 trophies left and I'll get my first platinum.

  • @Billy the old hunters is better then the main game i hope you 2 get to play it sometime

  • @Exist-2-Inspire said in Last game you finished:

Finished Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic for the first time. I was never the biggest Star Wars Fan (i really like the og Trilogy, but that's about it), so somehow this gem went under my radar. It's a fantastic RPG and probably one of the best BioWare games i've ever played. Even from a visual and gameplay standpoint i think it holds up quite well. Definitely going to play it again someday!

Nice! I was in the same boat, I always liked Star Wars but was never a huge fan, and this game's story was so good and expanded the universe so much that I entered a short craze for all things Star Wars after that.

Knights of the Old Republic 2 is also very good, it suffered from being rushed out of the door, but it's still an awesome game if you want more of the same.

  • The last game I finished was Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I enjoyed the gameplay, but I felt the game was chopped up because of the fact that the DLCs feel thus far something that should've been in the game but were removed and set up via self contained stories. The fact that the DLC story campaigns really don't feel integrated, similar to Missing Link in Human Revolution, makes me think we will see a Deus Ex Mankind Divided Director's Cut on the NX lol.

  • @Axel I'm aiming early next month for KOTOR 2, for the next couple of weeks i'm going to jump head first into Civ VI!^^

  • The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay - I don't understand why this game gets so much praise, I thought it was mediocre or even pretty bad at times, especially the stealth segments.

Phoenix Wirght (the first one) - I REALLY liked it, gotta play the rest of the series now!

  • just finished the dark souls 3 dlc . that final boss fight was bad ass

  • Just finished my first full playthrough of Dark Souls. Feels good.. can't believe it took this long to get back to it. Ready to tackle 2 and 3

  • I'd like to play Dark Souls. It's a bit weird that it isn't available digitally for PS3/4 owners.

  • That is pretty strange now that you mention it. Especially since Bloodborne and 3 (maybe 2 also) are available digitally if I remember correctly

  • @Sheria Yes! I remember getting Far Cry Instincts: Predator for the 360 way back when. I also remember feeling upset when they announced that Far Cry 2 would not continue the story line of the first two games. Not that Jack Carver was the most interesting protagonist. But the narrative was interesting, the powers were cool, the mechanics were surprisingly in-depth, and the world was slowly evolving into something of its own. And don't even get me started on that level creator! I would get lost in there for hours.

The only real criticism that I can remember having for it was that enemies had this ridiculous pin-point accuracy and could spot you from the opposite side of the map. I'll tell you something though, I honestly believe playing that game made playing other stealth games like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid a lot easier.

  • @Ringedwithtile thats weird demon's souls is it was a psplus game at one time

  • @Faaip just be prepared with ds2 that it's just a tad too long, the game is paced poorly and could have been 5-7 hours shorter and not hurt the game maybe even made it better.

  • I never finish games anymore and it really depresses me.

  • Kind of Persona 3 FES?

Kind of spoilers, but I do try to not name anything too specific or detailed:

The "bad" choice of the big decision. Made another save file just for that, just to see if it actually followed through with it or if they wimped out and forced you to go on the path of the "good" choice. To my surprise and joy, they did follow it through! I have yet to finish the game after choosing the "good" choice.

  • @FF7Cloud Yeah the lukewarm reception to 2 (plus having not finished the first) is why I held off on getting it. I'll probably just skip to 3 and come back to it later on

  • Finished Red Dead Redemption!

It is one of the only open world where I am not pissed when I am asked to cross the entire map between two missions. I really loved the world R* crafted. It is coming from someone who is kinda sick of open world games.

I really liked the missions even though at some point I feel it was a bit "more of the same" plus some variations but hey! Using a gatling will never get old. On a less positive note, I did not felt attached to the main character and its quest (I don't even remember his family name rn). But I still liked the ending.

Now I'm curious: Red Dead Revolver is worth a try?
