Assassin's Creed Valhalla (PS/XB/PC)

"Take me to Valhalla!"
The next Assassin's Creed will be all about vikings. The game will have its world premiere trailer tomorrow, so please be excited!
This AC will once again be helmed by Ashraf Ismail, who worked as the creative director on Black Flag and Origins, two games that are my favourites in the whole huge series. So I have my expectations high!

I liked black flag but thats the only game in series i liked. others not.
and 5 bucks say it will be another origins/odyssey rehash. focus on more RPG elements.
-
Still waiting for the Assassins Creed game that's about home insurance salesmen in the 1960's.
-
I didn't love Origins, but Black Flag is great so I'm super in. Even if it just refined the formula of Odyssey I'd be happy.
-
I'm currently on Revelations in my mission to play through every Assassin's Creed game, so I look forward to playing this game in 2027.

@ringedwithtile
I can see it now, you are Willy Loman, under the cover of a vaccum salesman you use your humble job as a means to sneak into the homes of various templars and find info on the mayo jar of Eden, all the while trying to close the sale because rent is still due at the end of the week.

I didn't get much enjoyment from my experience with Odyysey but I'm curious about this one.

Niiiiice. I knew how that duel would end. :)

I cannot even describe how much I love the fact that there'll be your own settlement, a village, in the game. You'll get to see it grow and evolve, open new unique things/units there and return there time after another. A wonderful description here. To bring back resources from your journeys and pillaging and then put them to use. Propably even new people and characters (with their quests and strenghts?). Looooove this! After spending over 100 hrs with Kassandra in Odyssey I think I'll go with the male character this time around (you get to choose again). Bearded Eivor just speaks to me more as a Viking when I think about it. A really cool decision to bring back shields, too! They were essential on Bayek's journey in Origins, I really like this.
Holiday 2020, may Odin watch my back then! And hopefully on PS5 that I've gotten by then.

I loved building up Monteregoni (idk how to spell it) in AC2 so this should be even better after all these years. But nothing can top Renaissance Italy for me personally.
-
@dipset Buying up property and building your city is probably my favorite aspect of the Ezio trilogy and I was sad to see it downsized in later entries.
I really enjoyed building up the dinner theater in Unity, but it ends too early imo.
-
I'll probably end up buying this putting 20 hours in like I did with origins, oddysey & Days Gone(basically AC Zombies) abandoning it after I realise its a 15 hour game stretched to 90 hours. I'd loved to be proved wrong & will gladly eat my words. Plus Vikings are cool.
-
I'm so glad you can choose to be either male or female again. Also, I hope the settlement system means there will be more meaningful secondary characters, something I feel was missing from Odyssey (and the series at large). Would have much rather seen gameplay, but the trailer was alright for what it was as well.

Just added some platforms to the title... I guess we're in the age of just Xbox and Playstation since we're back in cross gen territory.
-
Btw, female version is the canon one just like Kassandra.

I don't remember where I read it but I'm sure that I read it.

@scotty Well she's the figure included in the collector's edition so if that helps...
