@neocweeny i'm so glad Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus subscription games are a thing. PS5 and Series X games are like $125.00 Australian and fuck those price's.
that's almost as much as my Metroid Dread and Shin Megami Tensei V Collector's editions which were both $139.95 Australian each

@el-shmiablo hollow knight is a great 15 dollar game
Metroid is a great 60 dollar game
Also I’m well past 9 hours, the game counter doesn’t count total time , it omits time in the map and when you die the timer resets to before the death.
They also scratch different itches. Metroid is different than Metroidvania

@bigdude1 Personally I'd say Hollow is a phenomenal 15 dollar game and Dread is an okay 30-40 dollar game.

Btw my current Metroid file says I put 5 hours into it when I know I put in around 8. It just is kinda unfortunate that there is no game timer on the console like the Wii, Wii U, 3ds
I’d say it’s around 10 hours for a Metroid veteran judging by full playthrough times I’m seeing on YouTube

Whatever opinion you have of how I feel about the game after that is completely irrelevant.If you'd like to discuss the game, fine, but attempting to gaslight me about games I have played is hilarious, and a little sad.
The game is just okay, and I think it is massively overpriced. The end. If you don't agree, I don't care. Please try to move on.
