Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Remastered

@JDINCINERATOR damn that sounds like some bullshit. I’ll stop defending this package. That sounds extremely low effort. You saved me the download bandwidth despite it being “free” on Gamepass.

@dmcmaster That sucks to hear. These classic games deserve better than this.
@dipset I also learned that R* outsourced the development of the trilogy to other studios, which may explain why it's as much of a mess as it is.

Outsourced to Grove Street games who handle the 10th anniversary ports for iOS and Android (and PS3/360 for SA)
Oh well at least we still got this:
Here's an article I've written regarding ways to improve the GTA Trilogy:

Rockstar apologizes and promises updates and patches for the games. This is good. I'm willing to wait patiently until they fix the trilogy for the better. And until it goes on sale, perhaps.
"We will be adding the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store shortly as a bundle. Additionally, everyone who has purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC from the Rockstar Store through June 30, 2022, will receive these classic versions in their Rockstar Games Launcher library at no additional cost. We will update everyone as soon as these are back in the Rockstar Store."

Stumbled upon an old GT stream of San Andreas. Watching this makes me want a stream of the "definitive" trilogy with the allies, just to see them react and talk about it more. Jones' talk with Huber on Huber Syndrome is so entertaining.

@bam541 It is kind of weird. When someone streams a bad game that people don't know is bad yet, it helps expose the state of the game and dissuade people from buying into it. However, when someone streams a bad game that people already know is bad, it shifts the influence to making people want to buy and play it anyways in spite of it being bad. I saw people after the last group stream who wanted to buy Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl despite the whole stream kind of advising against it. In this way, it'd probably be better if they didn't stream this game, at least until it maybe someday is in a proper state.
Here's where I would say they should instead stream the old games, except DMCA kinda ruined streaming GTA for everyone.
@mbun I'm concerned that Take-Two hasn't resorted to making a music video parodying The Village People at this point.

On the bad game thing, I think it's kinda the same with bad movies, like you just want to sit there and laugh at it. Like The Room or Troll 2 (Clips posted so as to avoid confusion with similar sounding movies Room and Trolls 2)
