  • We made it! It's 2022 already so here is your annual Completed Games thread. For those unaware this is a thread in which you keep track of every game you beat throughout the year. Here are some quick guidelines to keep in mind:

    • Make sure you update the same post for the entire year instead of making a new one every time you complete a game. It's much harder to make a full list if it's fragmented, and it's harder for me to tally everything.
    • You don't have to, but for your benefit I recommend you label each month and keep a tally of your total.
    • A little bit of discussion on the lists is fine, but try not to discuss the games themselves as it clutters the thread.
    • You can start working on this list whenever you want. We're always accepting new lists.
    • I'll be updating this thread every month with a tally of where everyone is at. Not a competition though.

    Also I hope you all will bear with me as I compile all of the stats for last year's thread. I have that, along with the Opencritic thread to compile, as well as my everyday life to worry about, so I hope you understand that it may take a little bit. I'll get it to you as soon as possible.

    Road 96 (PC) - A bit caricature, but mostly realistic portrayal of politics without usual easy solutions. Also it’s nice that main topic doesn’t overshadow more immediate and personal issues.
    Solar Ash (PC) - Great visuals, decent gameplay.
    Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PC) - Great visuals and animations, but gameplay gets boring.
    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (PC, replay) - Still enjoyable.
    The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes (PC) - Good game, but camera performs poorly in tight spaces.
    Mortal Kombat 11 (Xbox Series X) - Great production values, but audio gets significantly out-of-sync by the end of each cutscene.
    Moncage (PC) - Gorogoa was much better.
    White Shadows (PC) - Decent.
    Logic Light (PC) - Ok.

    Outer Wilds (PC) - Basically inputting an answer
    Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye (PC) - Nice, but had to use walkthrough near the end. Also getting back to where you were takes too much time.

    Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels (Xbox Series X) - A bit expensive for what's there. Also, not enough open-world.
    Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Switch) - A bit repetetive, but good.
