Xenoblade Chronicles 3

It’s weird too because you could easily lose track of where the main story levels are at when you are doing sidequests that are above that. And you can’t go backwards like in xc2
-
i just finished chapter 4 and i'm at chapter 5 now.
i'm pretty sure i've missed a couple of Heroes. but i have no idea where to start searching for them before i continue on with the story

@bigdude1 Isn't this why they introduced the bonus XP system? Because people complained in the original Xenoblade that I got way too overleveled by doing side activities. So they turned it into bonus XP so you can choose wether to level up from it or not.

That's what it's for. As to if it's an issue however will be based on what difficulty people set. If you didn't pick the highest I don't really want to hear people complain.

@sheria I’m just comparing it to previous games. I used bonus exp in 2 and it wasn’t a problem in that
-
@neocweeny in 2 you could choose your level, unless that was just new game plus
-
i've been using bonus exp throughout the game and i still feel like i have a tough time against certain bosses later in the game
-
Got to chapter 6. It could have ended there and I would have been content lol
-
@bigdude1
Let me guess there's 12 more chapters?
-
@dmcmaster idk tbh. I’m 60 hours in
-
@bigdude1
I'm just joking, although hopefully the end of the story isn't like say Death Stranding where it just keeps going, and going, and going. Or hell Xenosaga 3, although that had the excuse of trying to cram like 5 games of planed plot stuff into a single ending.

i think what this game really improves upon is that they actually give u good reasons to do sidequests now. they aren't all just fetch quests which previous xenoblade games were guilty of at times.
the Heroes system is a fantastic replacement to Blade Gacha system that everyone hated in Xenoblade 2 for example
-
@yoshi the heroes system also just gives these characters more context then them being born at that moment
-
Hey Yoshi long time no see :)
I'm about 30 hours in and at the end of chapter 3 and absolutely loving it
-
@longview what's up?
this place is alot quieter and calmer now without a certain "someone" hanging around anymore lol
-
@yoshi probably say hollow knight is better
-
@yoshi somethings never change lol, was it one of the old GT trolls?
-
@longview yep. u used to get in arguments with him as well and i think he was a big reason u left the community lol
-
@yoshi said in Xenoblade Chronicles 3:
wow, its been 10 years and he still is at it lol
-
@longview lol yeah. apparently he got permabanned last year shortly after Metroid Dread came out
