Comment below if you want any games added to this list.

  • Crap I missed the previous one, but I'll try to participate in this one.

I've already spotted my own clear GOTY in the list, but the rest is wide open. A lot of deep cuts in there, feels like that year had a lot of cult classics.

I wish I played Beyond Good & Evil and Final Fantasy X-2, they might have made my list, but I won't have time to touch them before the deadline.

  • Good lord that’s a HUGE year for the Gamecube.

  • Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is the clear GOTY this year:

    Youtube Video

  • Voted. My Top 4 was clear as a day, my big personal favourites. The HM's on the other hand were mostly games I had fun playing with my brother back then.

I hope more people show up for this this time around!

  • I've submitted my votes. My #1 is without any doubt in my mind the best game of 2003. The rest of them are made from games I was able to play in 2003. Unfortunately there's no GameCube representation in there, but if I was an adult in 2003 I'd surely have played all the big hitters on GC.

  • Votes submitted. Personally speaking, a real solid top four, but a pretty noticeable drop-off after that. 11 total games as well like our previous list, and I'd wager of those, six should probably make our countdown comfortably. But who knows... It's all down to participation.

  • There's too many games that I missed from this year so I probably wont vote until either time runs out or I get to play enough games. There's some pretty cool stuff this year.

  • The list of 3 games I don't remember, 1 game I'm not sure I've played and 1 game I know is trash is submitted.

Double Dash should be excluded though for being unacceptable as a video game

  • @sheria What makes it unacceptable? I actually still enjoy that game.

Well, my comment was kinda sarcastic , but I always held DD fans to account for these votes.

  • Go! Go! Hypergrind, sigh, sold a pristine copy of that for $60 a few years ago.

  • @sheria It has only gotten better by time. Now it really sticks out in this big franchise of samey video games. It's different in a very good way.

I still don't think it will make my top 8. There is a lot of competition this year.

To be fair, I haven't played it in a long time, I just remember it really rubbing me the wrong way on release and I've kinda just run it.
I think i will pop it in and try it again this weekend, see what I think of it now. I know I had an issue with the width of the tracks.

  • Update: 9 People have voted so far after one week. There's still two more weeks left to vote.

  • Update: No new lists this last week.

With one more week left to vote, it's time to give some reminder shout outs to all of the recent past voters:

    @NeoCweeny @Axel @E_Zed_Eh_Intern @MXAGhost @DIPSET @bam541 @kindiman @Capnbobamous @Hazz3r @Scotty @Bigdude1 @DemonPirate @Crepe @Tearju-Engi @Nimbat1003

August 7th is your last day to vote.

  • I will for sure send my list. This is a difficult one. My number one and two are certain. Then I have about 10 games that are really close to eachother. Don't know what to cut, so many good games.

  • Moving. Will try to get a list in but not too hopeful.
