Resident Evil 4 is definitely one of my favorite games ever but I voted for another game in the series because RE4 was only exclusive for a short time and to be honest I thought this would be number 1 even without my vote but I guess I was wrong XD
-
Regarding Resident Evil 4, I'm going to pull my comment from our recent countdown:
"Admittedly, it's (a) game... I haven't played, but I've watched a playthrough a couple times. I've stated several times how Huber has made me a casual fan of the franchise, but this was an RE game as a viewer I just didn't like watching (for comparison, by the time I first watched this playthrough, I had seen VII, 2 Remake, REmake, and 3make). As a viewer, this game drags on for a WHILE, plus aside from Leon, none of the other characters were interesting to me (to say nothing of Ashley). I also don't like scenarios where you have to survive for an undetermined amount of time (which is why I think Village's first combat encounter is the worst part of the game as a viewer), so the beginning is annoying. I do commend RE4's efforts in mixing up the enemy types (especially Las Plagas), and perhaps my favorite thing about this game is the inventory management (Tangent: If you haven't seen the recent Easy Update where Isla and Huber play a game on Steam called 'Safe Room' where someone turned the inventory management into a puzzle game, it's awesome. I hope the indie-dev can get some budget, polish it up a bit, and put it on console. It's RAD.) Also, mixing up the locations between the village, castle, island, and others keeps it environmentally fresh (though a lot of the castle seems annoying to playthrough). Overall, I don't regret watching it, and yes, because Huber has me on the hook.. I will watch a playthrough of (the Remake next year), but unlike VII (and 2 Remake), it's not a game I want to own, much less rewatch beyond what I just stated."
I've already talked about how Spider-man (2018) and Miles Morales are the only Spider-Man exposure I've had, and I have no connection to SSX, so I can't comment on that.

I haven't played Eternal Darkness, but I do want to. It looks to have great, unique atmosphere.
-
I've said recently elsewhere that Spongebob is not for me for several reasons, so I won't beat the dead horse as it were about that.
As for the other two games, I don't think there are too many more of a greater "cult classic" status that I constantly hear about. The one constant thing that gets talked about with Eternal Darkness is its sanity system and fourth-wall breaks to mess with you, but beyond that, there's NOTHING else about the game gets discussed, like at all. As for Skies of Arcadia, I feel like, with maybe a couple exceptions, no game gets called for a remake/rerelease. And I like the concept of sky pirates, but the graphical style is a bit of a turn off for me. Who knows, if the IP ever gets a remake, I might give it a look.
-
Eternal Darkness and Skies of Arcadia are still sitting in my backlog.
Spongebob is a great game though but not good enough for my top 8.

I had Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy on PSP-it's a great follow up to the original.
-
Lego Star Wars 2 was fun but I find these games to be really repetitive. Can't believe they made a million of these games afterwards.
-
Regarding Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, I'm going to pull from my blurb in the 2006 countdown:
"Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy was decent, but I don't remember playing it as much as I did the first Lego Star Wars. I think I dropped it still within a New Hope and I can't remember why I dropped it."
And what with the Skywalker Saga being a thing, I don't believe I will ever revisit this incarnation.

My brother bought a GameCube with Mario Kart: Double Dash!! But it went missing, which deprived me of the chance to play it. I really would like to play The Thousand-Year Door but it's very expensive now. Twilight Princess I played on the Wii and I think it's my favorite Zelda game in terms of its visual presentation.
-
As it pertains to Double Dash, I believe this is the game I played the most in the brief span I owned a GameCube. I beat all the CC levels on all tracks and unlocked all the racers and karts (Plus introducing a couple tracks that are fantastic), but it became so repetitive after awhile that I found myself gravitating to going back to the PS2 (which I LIVED off of for a decade). Still, the two racers per kart is a neat idea and I'm surprised Nintendo has never revisited the concept as a mode in MK 8: Deluxe or with another stand alone game. Shout out to @bruno_saurus and @E_Zed_Eh_Intern for giving it votes as well.
Regarding Twilight Princess, to pull from what I said in the 2006 Countdown:
"The only experience with Twilight Princess I have is playing my cousin's copy on her Wii and I got to the first dungeon and I think I messed up somehow right before the dungeon's boss and got stuck. Afterwards, she took her Wii back to her place and I've never had an opportunity to replay it.
I remember the Allies playing Twilight Princess at EZA's launch stream, but as far as a full playthrough, I don't think they have and I would be down to watch a full one from whichever Ally would do so, if ever."
To add to this, if the remastered ports to Switch (This and Wind Waker) were true, I would probably buy them both and give them a shot, but until such a rumor actually gets proven true, this stays on a list of games I don't think I'll ever revisit, not because of being obsolete, but rather for not having a system to play it on.
Finally for Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, when I DID have a GameCube, it was on my wishlist to get at the time, because I thought a Mario RPG as paper caricatures was hilarious of an idea. But when my ownership of the console was involuntarily taken from me, I didn't get this in time and felt it wasn't worth pursuing. Now, much like Twilight Princess above, if it were ever ported to Switch I might give it a look (especially considering I currently own so little for the Switch as is), but at the same time, I'll always have the option of checking out Ben's playthrough if I don't want to make the financial investment.
-
Oh, fooey...I blanked on Twilight Princess when submitting my votes. >_< I would've placed it 4th.
