Could be delayed so it can be bundled with PS4K or so people play it on the PS4K or more time to work on the frame rate since it was in rough shape during E3

You hyped the shit out of the release date with that grand Uncovered Event. The release date WAS the grand attraction of the event. Now stick to it and show that you are somewhat competent, if not with marketing the game then with actually developing and having the game ready for the cemented release date.

On one side I want it to be false as I want to play this game, on the other it would be nice if it is so they could fix the frame rate and such!
I have a vague memory of reading this being false! but I guess we just have to wait and see?

Lol, it's hilarious that this stuff comes out ahead of actual announcements. Especially since, until word comes down from Japan, all the North American staff have to be all "Yeahhh... September 30th... gonna be good!" Meanwhile publishers be like:
Anyway, it sucks that we lost our MGSV September game, but hopefully this means they'll make the frame rate run well on PS4 and XB1 1.0. However, if this rumor is true, that means FFXV is delayed past Black Friday to just three days before Gravity Rush 2 (which is greatly problematic for both games).

Just release it already. Bad framerates are common with consoles, and its not like this is some sort of character action game that requires a good fps.

@El-Shmiablo Have you played the demo? It needs at least that high of a frame rate because it is an "action" game. And games that are actually made for their systems don't have low frame rates, because that's part of the point of making games.

Would be kinda weird to delay a worldwide release in fear of a JP only release.

@michemagius Why would Atlus be happy about this? All this does it cede Final Fantasy's sales to western trash and crush Gravity Rush 2 entirely.

@Haru17 A final Fantasy delay would mean less competition for Persona 5 in September, at least in Japan where a lot of their sales will likely come from. P5 is gonna be big, but It'll be bigger if people don't have to choose.

The story of the making of this game is probably more epic than the plot of the actual game.

if anyone thinks the ps4k is coming this year really needs to think the thing hasn't even been shown and it almost September if the thing was coming this year thered be a leak on exactly what its specs were

I can't say I'm looking forward to this FFXV, I'll check it out once it is cheaper if reviews are good, but man I can't help but think the worst out of this, if it does turn out to be true. This would seem like another episode in what to me seems to be just a disastrous development for this game.

Also I think this is completely unrelated to the Neo, the game just needs more work to it.
