I think the LEGO games franchise qualifies for sure.

Are they all actually masterpieces/great, or are some just decent fun?

If I had to throw anything out to the original question, Shining Force would be my vote, SF 1,2 and 3 are great, the GG/CD games are really good too. (This doesnt include the Shining spin offs)

I can't speak for the two Valkyria games on the psp (or vita), but 1 and 4 are pretty awesome

Good for GOW, though it like Spiderman, I have absolutely no interest in playing, though Im sure its a good game

But honestly, I can't get into it. I AM impressed at the number of runner-up votes it got. EIGHT! I'm very happy for Insomniac that it is such a massive success, and selfishly, I see that as a double-down on a sequel as opposed to Ratchet & Clank, which is a personal bummer. Still, a deserved honor and a shame they got Horizon'd at the Game Awards.

I love Insomniac for their R&C games and Im sure Spiderman is fun to play, but I have absolutely no interest in playing it, not really sure why

And if 6 was lower, I'd have felt the same was as I felt 2 was the better game, 6 is my least favorite of the main line games, still good, but still my least favorite

To each their own, 6 is my least favorite of the series, still good game, gave it an OM, but I felt the story dragged at times and that the big secret was a huge let down. I enjoyed 2 a lot more and it is my second favorite after 0

Honestly its probably my least favorite of the main games, something about it just didnt feel right, I think it kind of dragged and the whole secret was kind of lame, hence only an OM, it's still a good game, but I didnt love it like I loved some of the others, and probably doesnt help we've had so many come out lately

10 hours in, and learning something that should of at least been a blip on the tutorial.

Also Secret movie added today, has no story connection to anything, if anything looks more like a hint of 2 DLC worlds (or I think 2)

Yeah Im surprised there was a tutorial pop up for that

Also I really wish there was a way to maximize the world maps instead of just the little bit you see in the corner

Yeah, if/when I get a switch I lost all interest when I heard how the story is and that the characters dont really interact and arent there for each persons story bits, i.e. oh brave of you to come alone, only to then be joined by all the other characters in battle....huge disconnect there
