I just finished Metal Gear Solid for the first time :D
And oh man some of those boss fights were hard.

I'm okay with them as long as CHECKPOINTS ARE AFTER THEM.

Don't make me watch your unskippable cinematic everytime I die (looking at you Metal Gear Solid)

Note: Maybe I should just get gud and not die after unskippable cinematics

I wanted to make a thread where we can share all our projects since there seem to be so many creative people in the community!

My current project is remaking maps from Marathon: Infinity for Halo 2: Vista

Unfortunately it turns out the Halo engine doesn't seem to like the way the way I built/imported my geometry so I had to start over :(

Sadly I got into GT very late because growing up I had terrible internet so I never really did anything online. I only just got into last year now that I think about it right before they shut down :( A friend at work showed me The Final Bosman and I loved it. (I actually didn't even realize there were other shows until later haha) I was so sad when I saw the Last Final Bosman I was like NO I JUST FOUND YOU :'(

If I'm understanding this correctly it would be kinda like Skyrim or something where doing a specific thing raises stats but then everything overall contributes to leveling?
Like Capnbobamous said I think it could be a neat idea but a bit hard to say without seeing anything.

I would just get a nice little prototype going and then have some friends test it and see if they get confused or not

@bam541 it felt pretty good, I usually play on pc but playing on ps4 still felt really good! the audio is also incredible, sneaking around in the "realism" mode listening for people was my favorite :P

I'd love to see modern remakes or reimaginings of the 3DO Army Men franchise. It kinda got ran into the ground but I think that IP has a lot of potential especially with how well we could render things like Army Men and other toys today... going back some of the models uh...well they didn't age so well haha
