@Sage-Of-Thyme I totally agree. I am very surprised that they name it the Pro. Maybe every company is going to use Pro instead of S now when they release a newish product.
Maybe they will release a PS4 Pro S in the future...
And the product itself.. I don't know. We're probably getting tons of graphical comparison videos the next year between PS4 and PS4PRO and XboxOneS and Scorpio. Hopefully the difference is very much noticeable, both on a 'conventional' TV as on a 4K HDR compatible one.
Yesterday I started playing Max Payne on the PS4. I've played through that game about ten times on the PC, but seeing it available on PS4 with trophy support (yes, i'm probably a sucker for that) I just couldn't resist.
Controls feel a bit weird and for some reason I can't play it full screen. Other than that, it looks better than I'd expected. I really recommend it if someone hasn't played it yet.
There were two very different games that I played when I was young: Neverwinter Nights and Tony Hawk. Both of these games have gone awry, one more than the other.
The story of Tony Hawk we all know now. I had hope when that cheap HD Tony Hawk game came out, that the next games would be better. But no. Definitely not. Maybe, just maybe Activision will let someone else make a new TH game for next gen? Otherwise I don't want to see a new TH game.
And Neverwinter Nights 1 is still one of my favourite games of all time. I immediately bought the sequel and I thought it was horrible. Clunky, slow, and incredibly demanding for my PC although it didn't look very good. I really hope that someone will make a NN1 HD remake or a new game. That game deserves it.
@TokyoSlim Totally forgot about that. Yeah, that ending where you leave all of your friends. It almost felt like leaving real friends behind. I wonder if Persona 5 is going to give me such a feeling.
Two games come to mind. The last one is Life is Strange. That game really got to me. LiS really showed me that realistic graphics are certainly not necessary when it comes to stories where I will totally absorb the story. The characters and the world are so weird, but also very believable. I had many tears on my cheek when I ended that game.
And the game where I still cry pretty much every time I finish it is The Last of Us. Even when I've seen the ending a couple of times, the way it's been told and the way it 'forces' the player to do certain things still amazes me every time.
I still rewatch Tabletop Adventures and Fiasco when I just want to watch something that makes me happy. Every time I watch one of those episodes I think a moment in those is my new favourite moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJTCdIsbIdI #dustybarnes
