As someone that doesn't care much about FF in general and FF7 in particular I have to admit that looks pretty damn good, I still won't dive into it, at least not until it is all out, but it definitively caught my attention, if only it were purely turn based.

RE: Yakuza: Like a Dragon (Quest) / Yakuza 7
ok with that gameplay trailer the franchise has gone from I don't care any more about it at all, to I'll probably be there day one, although I do want to see a little more of the actual battles, but just not having the same old combat is a massive step forward.
RE: Are Your Friends as into Gaming as you are?
I have a few that are interested but not at the same level, and more particularly they tend to have a certain range of games or genres they follow, one of my roomates in particular is pretty interested he just doesn't follow things closely and doesn't have as much time as I do for playing.
RE: Cyberpunk 2077 (XBO/PS4/PC)
@dipset that's is probably a fair assesment and I absolutely want it to be that over a top of the line shooter/stealth/action or whatever, if I just get a Witcher 3 in a different setting I'll be pleased tbh, but it seems they want to go a bit beyond that.
And I do think they have shown the mods do have a humanity cost, so similar to the pen and paper game there may be a cyber psychosis mechanic were you effectively lose your humanity after a certain point.
RE: Vote for the forum's GOTY 2012!
I'm assuming Persona 4 Golden falls into the port, and not a full remake category, but wanted to ask simply to be sure.
Anyhow weird year, a few interesting games, but it doesn't make me look fondly at those times.
Edit: Noticed this was actually asked before about P4G, I think it is a gray area as they there are significant diferences between the two versions and it is not just a port, but I would leave it out unless it is widely understood that it should be considered.
RE: Tackle the backlog - 12 in 12 2019
"Finished" D4 as much as I think I can say that I finished, so that is another one down.
Dark Dreams Don't Die 7.5/10
I was not aware that this was an incomplete game, and while that leaves a pretty sour taste considering how it ends, I was very entertained with it even though it has a good amount of shortcomings.
The game is one of the best I've played in terms of the use of QTEs, and overall I liked the general gameplay, that coupled with all of the weird stuff in the game make for something very interesting, and a lot of things had me intrigued so I'm just sad there won't be an ultimate resolution fo them so I guess I'll have to settle for whatever theories I might have had. Hard to grade an unfinished product but I liked what it was doing.

RE: EZA curates September games: What are you anticipating? What's worth checking out?
@tokyoslim I can't wait for my copy of Catherine to arrive, I absolutely love the original and can't wait to see what is new with it.
Greedfall is also looking pretty good, but it is definitively one to wait and see, and then wait and see if I ever end up having time for it.
