Hey, Ben. I'm glad you finally get to do this. My suggestion isn't exactly about what you could do in Japan, but more about the stuff you could upload when you get back since, on the stream with you and Brandon, you guys were saying that you weren't entirely sure what form that would take.
I was thinking, obviously depending on time for editing/uploading, that if there were parts of the trip that it didn't make sense for you to include in more formal Easy Allies content, it could be neat to include footage of that stuff in a more casual vlog series. You could even embed the videos here so this thread could form a complete travel diary of sorts.
Anyway, have a great time. I'm deeply envious of you right now.
I also made galleries for artwork of each player character, so if you have stuff to add, there's a link to each character's gallery under the "Appearance" section of their respective main articles.
I started articles for all the player characters from Tabletop Escapades. The most fleshed out so far is the one for Pomper, but I'll add more to the others soon.
I'm fairly new to wikis, so let me know if there's anything funky about the articles or if there are additional things I should do in the future.
Also, if any FAN ARTISTS are looking at this thread, let me know if your Tabletop Escapades art is okay to use on the wiki. To start, I've used some of my own art for Pomper's main pic, but I don't have art for the other characters yet. Besides, it'd be better to get as much from as many different artists as possible to really flesh out the articles.
I'm personally not all that disappointed. I've felt for a while that now isn't the right time for Nintendo to release a home console. I feel like right now, with most console gamers owning either a PS4 or an Xbox One, they're far more likely to opt for the PS4K or the Scorpio because they've already invested in libraries which will function on those systems. I think, if Nintendo ever does want to do a traditional home console again, it should be at the time of the next major leap to the PS5/XboxWhatever. Right now, everything would just be stacked against them.
On the handheld front, however, the only competition Nintendo has is with mobile gaming. As much as this development undermines the perfect vision we all had of a super powerful console to restore Nintendo to the days of the SNES, I think it's the best move. Anyway, we're getting a B E E F Y handheld with a Nintendo library. All of what made the Vita impressive combined with all that made the 3DS successful. I'm actually pretty pumped for the system itself.
More excited for Legion than anything else. Si Spurrier's X-Men: Legacy is one of my favourite modern comic books and it seems like the show is based more on that than any of Legion's other appearances, so I'm pumped. I've also heard great things about Fargo, though I haven't watched it myself yet.
Doctor Strange looks cool, though I could have done without the trademark Marvel humour at the end of the trailer.
Still not crazy about Gal Gadot in the role of Wonder Woman, but the movie itself seems pretty sweet. Justice League, I could take or leave.
