Anyone want a complementary ticket to The Game Awards?
Not sure why, but I just got an email with a complementary ticket to The Game Awards. Maybe I signed up for something and just forgot... or maybe they just picked someone random from PSX attendees. Either way, I won't be in LA at that time so if anyone wants them, just holler.
The tickets are in section ORCH LEFT, row MM. Never been to the Microsoft Theater before, but I'm assuming they aint exactly the best seats lol.
RE: What games are you still planning on buying this year?
Well I just picked up Gears 4, so I kinda want to include that. Other than that FF XV and TLG for sure. I really want to pick up Shadow Warrior 2 as well but not sure if I'll have the time / budget to do so. Oh and Steins; Gate 0 if that makes it out this year.
Was really looking forward to Gravity Rush 2 this holiday = [
These are the last things Im planning to buy for the year.
Final Fantasy XV
Batman Arkham Collection
Shante 1/2 Genie Hero (on PS4 and Wii U)
and Yakuza 6.
Should a sale pop up for something I missed earlier in the year I might grab it
Is that even still happening?
@Nillend said in What games are you still planning on buying this year?:
Definitely Battlefield 1, possibly Titanfall 2, Shadow Warrior 2, CoD (So many FPSs man. It's hard to decide). Also Civ 6 and Skyrim special edition. Steep and Watchdogs 2 are possible, but I'm far from convinced.
Steep apparently is looking super rough so I'd be wary of that. Watchdogs 2 managed to cut me cause of how sharp the EDGE was.... >_>
RE: Tips for Persona 3?
Its been awhile not sure if these tips work for the version you play but here we go.
Having the arcana of the social link equipped when you do them gives you a small boost.
You can see how much they enjoyed hanging out with you by how many musical notes pop over their head.
Most of the time don't try to focus on one Social link at a time. you could get stuck with days not being able to social link with anyone. since the only one available is already maxed out.
Didn't realize that! That's pretty awesome. Will try and diversify my social link portfolio too =p
Helel... And Satan.
Thank you! Correct grammar always makes me happy lol =D
RE: Tips for Persona 3?
Thanks for all the tips guys. Sorry for being MIA in my own thread... will definitely keep those suggested links in mind. Good to know the choice of club doesn't matter.
Will try to hit one boss a week for the dungeon... feels odd coming up with a schedule for within the game lol. Can't say I've played a game like this before.
But mostly, I'm now curious to meet Aigis and Mitsuru =p
Tips for Persona 3?
I just started Persona 3 and was wondering if there were any tips / tricks I should be aware of as a newbie to the franchise. Is there is a preference of what clubs to join, how often to go into the dungeon, stuff like that? A bit afraid to google it cause of spoilers so I figured I'd just ask here = )
Or would you guys recommend to just go in blind on everything and fumble my way through = p
RE: Games so good you are surprised they aren't more popular?
BOX BOY AND BOX BOX BOY!
Holy crap, thanks for pointing these games out. I absolutely adored the first one, hoping to pick up the sequel around the winter holidays.
I'd like to throw in another vote for Sleeping Dogs, genuinely surprised that wasn't more popular. From a gameplay perspective I enjoyed that game quite a bit more than any of the GTA games. Movement is tight, aiming a gun is fast and easy, hand to hand combat is superb and the driving is super arcadey and fun. The little QoL touches like showing your next turn on the road instead of just highlighting the path on the mini map was a genius move that I'm also surprised that no one else has implemented that feature yet.
RE: Comic book fans
Signed up for Marvel Unlimited a couple months ago and I've just been easing into comics. There's some really good suggestions on here, not sure if all of the recommendations will be on there, from what I understand they have stuff that's ~6 months old. Which is perfectly fine for me right now.
Mostly following this guide, seemed like a fun idea to go back and read some of the older stuff = )
but will definitely check out some of the stuff mentioned on here.
