    • RE: Ranking The Atlus Games

@scotty I'm unsure if this is a joke question or not, but I'll answer it regardless haha.

Shin Megami Tensei (previously simply called Megami Tensei) is the mainline franchise from Atlus. There are many spin-offs, the most popular of which is Persona. The Persona series used to carry the Shin Megami Tensei moniker in its name but was later dropped.

Their main differences are the themes and subject matter in each games' story. SMT is generally regarded to have a more mature, dark, and serious tone. While Persona is on the lighthearted side. Most of the demons/personas used are found in both games along with accessories like items being shared between the two.

There are of course plenty more similarities and differences but these are off the top of my head.

Very excited for people to finally experience the original NieR.

Papa Nier will be sorely missed though.

Here's the April Fool's video SQEX put out:

@bam541 I thought it looked fine until the realization that we had already moved past the 3DS era kicked in and this is coming out on Switch. I liked the look and feel of the 3DS remakes, but this looks almost worse and very rough. Not sure what the thought process behind the graphical direction was. Showcasing it along with Legends is especially a bad idea.

I haven't played DPP before, but does that remake look... off to anyone else?

@bam541 Japan Studio is one of SIE's most creative first-party studios. This is heartbreaking.

      5. Link's Awakening

      8. Breath of the Wild
      9. A Link to the Past
      10. The Legend of Zelda
      11. Tri Force Heroes

I know it's ranked last, but I genuinely love Tri Force Heroes.

      1. Black 2 / White 2
      2. Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire
      3. Sun / Moon
      4. X / Y
      5. Sword / Shield

If we include spin-offs, then Stadium and Stadium 2 overtake all of them :)

    • RE: Movie trailers

@bam541 I'd recommend Wolf Children and Summer Wars. He also made an amazing One Piece movie which is usually considered a fan favorite among the series' films. You can't really go wrong though, all his stuff is great.

Uh? Please don't spread misinformation and blatant lies. Yes, stuff like this has been against the law. But, the country has seen an enormous spike in support of women and general freedom and expression of thought. It has gone over and repealed many of the laws that were frowned upon within a very small time margin. People usually view this as a no-brainer, but the reforms happened in such quick succession that I think many foreigners believe Saudi Arabia is the same as it was 10 years ago, which is completely inaccurate.
