@jaggafredde Yeah didn't realize how much I depended on GAF for news. Felt like I have no clue what's going on in gaming these days.
Hopefully if resetera is the thing it gets the juicy news and leaks that we used to get on gaf

@SabotageTheTruth said in Easy Allies Podcast - Official Discussion Thread:
I don't know how the comment section of YouTube hasn't picked up on Kyle trolling them with the, "no one online is sticking up for Princess Bride," gag but it's glorious to behold. I wonder how long he can keep it going.
I'd like to see him just keep on going. 2 years from now he can be like.. "So 24 months later not ONE person likes princess bride more in the youtube comments"
So there hasn't been a thread to discuss Nintendo's latest blunder. But the more I think about it the more shocked I am, what were they thinking? Did they learn nothing in the last 4 years? Did they consider their previous strategy to be a success?
Lets start with what they announced:
Launch Lineup:
Thats right at launch there is going to be ONE AAA game (although it is Zelda, but its also on WII U and its almost exactly the same). And their other big game? 1, 2 Switch a FIFTY DOLLAR collection of minigames worse than Nintendoland. Games where you can count balls, and pretend to milk a cow or eat a sandwich...
3rd party support seems even worse than the WiiU right now, especially western support.
And after that its also pretty barren: (copied from http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1333390)

Nothing about the system interface, online was even talked about in the presentation. Even the WIIU ports are not making launch. Apparently switch was delayed from 2016 to now so it can have a good games line up. Not they have 1 games instead of 0. How is 1,2 Switch not a free packin game?
Do they think people want to sit around and pretend to milk a cow?
And worst of all their online is still not figured out. YOU NEED A SMARTPHONE APP to do anything, and even from their other videos it looks like you'll be using your phone to do a lot of functionality (like that parental controls video), although i hope that is not the case. And on top of that they have the want to charge for online now? Come on. Why would i just not use discord...
Why is everything priced so high? Do they think they are Apple? Why is 1,2 switch $50 dollars? Why is a dock (which only has usb ports and hdmi pass through) $90.
But worst of all from the presentation its clear they learned nothing. Same old song and dance from the WII U launch.
Share your thoughts, I wanted to gather all the info in one place but it ended up being a rant lol.

Ninja gaiden black
Well this one is easy. Not sure how it outlasted all these other games but. NINJA Gaiden Black. Its a great action game but i never did care to finish it.
I feel like with the last few episodes the group has just been able to not really engage with the story and avoided making any decisions.
For example going into the maze, its been like what 3 episodes and the group has just been sitting there avoiding going in there. And whenever they have a decision to make or a challenge they seem to push it onto Ben to make it, similar to Pomper's decision about the dragon this week. I feel like in those cases Ben shouldn't have given into the Huber.
Even in TTA the group was still doing DND things like actually examining objects, perception, you know "real" DND. But it was still super funny and entertaining. Don't get me wrong TTE is still amazing but seems like it just grinds to a halt for whole blocks of episodes because the group is just not willing to move forward. It feels like everytime an NPC asks group "A" or "B", group says "You decide". Loop till Ben gives up and decides or rolls for it.
I'm not blaming Ben at all since he has been doing a good job as a DM and there is only so much he can do if the group is just not willing make decisions and keep forcing them onto the DM.
@dmax3901 From the waypoint article seems like a lot of mods quit due to being doxxed and harassed on twitter and for fear of further harassment along with being disgusted by the allegations and no statement.
I wonder if they are open to coming back or not. Whatever happens it definitely wont be the same as before. There is gonna be a lot of spam.
