I generally don't play games during their release year. Only game I think I've played from 2020 has been TLOU2 and that was absolutely incredible.
I guess Genshin and Fall Guys count. I've enjoyed both though...

@scotty I'm guessing it will stay fresh by not following the story beat for beat.
Also, I think they will follow a young Abby parallel to Ellie, which honestly will be so much better for the story imo. Still think it was a lost opportunity that the story was told out of order in 2. Telling it chronologically would have endeared the player to Abby SO much better.
Just letting everybody know how rude it is that they've deprived me of being the absolute last second entry.
Tough work reskinning Steep, I guess.
@mbun Don't you think it is a little strange to ask people to name another dev doing those things when GameFreak themselves don't even do that?
Guys stop picking on Pokemon. Don't you know they are too busy to animate?
They have a schedule.
Who cares if they are stupidly rich and could easily hire enough talent to make the games not look like total dogshit? Just buy the games and enjoy the terrible quality!
@dipset Odd. I'm playing on a Pro as well and, other than some hitching when transitioning from game to menu, it has been pretty solid for me.
I'm only a few hours in but... wow. I am just blown away by this game so far.
You know that feeling you get when you are playing something truly great for the first time? That almost nostalgic feeling? Control has just been blasting my in the face with that so far and I love it.
The combat is a low point for the game, but it isn't bad, just serviceable. Pretty much every encounter is me just throwing the environment at enemies and spamming the service weapon until my telekinesis recharges, but whatever, literally everything else is a solid 11/10 so I'm willing to overlook basic bitch combat.
