I just finished Assassins Creed Origins. Its a interesting story but man the animus that stops everything is horrible. I am probably going to pick up the new one that is coming out. its a perfect time that I finished it because the next game will be Octopath Traveler for me

Well I am a guy who grew up back in the 80s so I had the pleasure of seeing the golden age of gaming for myself. I am from Europe specifically Denmark (its north of Germany if you don't know where it is). I play games, watch movies, have fun running a small youtube channel and mutch more. My day Job is working as a IT admin.

RE: Last game you finished
Finished Assassins creed black flag on PS4. I did the mains tory and some side stuff and haven't done the DLC and I don't really want to. its a great game but man there are some bad missions in it. I was frustrated at some of them where you need to follow and the combat was also a bit meh.
I am now playing AC Origin on PC and that is a totally different game... they have improved much but ACBF is a solid comeback from the really really bad AC3. I just wish they stop with the animus stuff.

RE: First Time Dungeon Master Tips
@michemagius Awesome I hope you are going to have fun with it. If you are looking for tips then I would say check out matt mercer GM tips
https://geekandsundry.com/tag/matt-mercer-gm-tips/
He is probably the best GM/DM I have ever seen. I htink the most important part for a GM is have fun. if everyone is having fun then the rest comes by it left. I also think a GM should be fare that yes people can die and you may not win every battle but also not try to kill your players. trhere are many elements to a good GM and fellow players also have a big role in this.

RE: What Are the Best Adventure Games?
The secret of the monkey Island
The secret of the monkey Island 2 Lechuck's revenge
Maniac Mansion
The Day of the tentacle
Gabriel Knight sins of the father
Gabriel Knight The Beast within
Loom
Indiana Jones and the last crusade
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Beneath a Steel Sky
The DigI could keep the list going but if you want adventure games and want good classic where it all started then this is the pick list you start at. There are of corse the textr based games but this is a bit easier to dig into and can be found dirt cheap on gog or steam. There are also some remastered out there

RE: Respectfully requesting help from someone with PC support skills...
@Ozymandsss Hi this is a issue that I know a bit about at most of the times its drivers. updating drives is one way of doing it but downgrading can also be the solution. sometimes a bug in the driver stack will be there for some time because it is not on the fix list and few people might have issues with it so it might be priorities down. This is speculation because the first thing you need to tell people so they can help you is detailed information about your system.
what hardware do you have? what audio device are you using? are the headphones USB (if so then your audio device itself and its not using your onboard mobo audio)? what version of windows are you running ? etc.

RE: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)
@Yoshi if orbs are surrounding a enemy and your Party Gauge is all full click your +
button (the one that opens menus normally) 0_1514376088139_maxresdefault.jpgthis will start a chain attack. The idea is to destroy the orbs. the way you do this is you choose the opposite element to damage the enemy. fx if you have a fire orb then you would choose water. each character gets a turn and if you destroy a orb you get to go one more round again. The more orbs you have the more times you can go. I think the max number of orbs you can put on a enemy is 4.
To put orbs on a enemies you do the blade specials and the last element you use is the orb type that will float around the enemy so if you do. water, water, wind it will be a wind orb.
if you do it right you can do a LOT of damage
