Easy Allies Has Hit 100K Subs On YouTube!
Congratulations to Easy Allies for reaching 100K subs on YouTube!
The Allies and this community are nothing short of amazing individuals!
Happy to be celebrating this awesome milestone during a great anniversary Twitch stream today by the allies. This year has been a terrific experience for us fans coming together as the best community I have ever seen. Never have I witness more continuous showing of Love and Respect by everyone.
Thank you, Allies! Congratulations on your first year and your YouTube milestone!
If Anyone Wants A Free Ticket To The Anniversary Concert, I Have One To Give
It's with a heavy heart that I have to write this but the day after my birthday, I found out I'm not going to be able to make it to the EZA concert.
I had already purchased a ticket to the event. I'm not sure if it's possible to transfer over a ticket to another person because it may be tied to your name but if anyone wants/needs a ticket to the concert, I'd be more than happy to give it to whoever needs it.
I hope all the allies have a lot of fun and come back with great stories and photos to share with us.
Love & Respect,
RE: Another Way To Support The Allies!
I'm excited for the prospect of it helping the allies. If it does, I'll gladly use it as a way to purchase my games.
However, I trust the allies. I don't know what the "behind the doors" rules and regulations are behind this deal. If they see that it's more of a "we'll gladly pay you if people buy the game from your streams but it has to be a favorable stream" then I'm sure they won't go down this path.
I'm not sure if this is games that have been played or games currently being played. I don't think that this will apply to older titles as they are harder to purchase online. I think this may be more for games that are still able to be purchased through Amazon, like For Honor, Nioh, Final Fantasy XV, Breath of the Wild, etc.
Either way, I'm just excited there are more ways the Allies can get our support!
RE: Nintendo Switch Launch/Hype
So much this.
I want to see that beautiful BotW on Cemu. Unfortunately, the Switch version is said to have more textures so even if we do render it a 4K 60fps, there might be some missing assets.
HOWEVER, that sweet mod community might grace us with love!
Another Way To Support The Allies!
Twitch just announced that they will be incorporating a way to buy the games you see being played on streams. The best part about this? If you buy through Twitch, the streamer gets a percentage of that revenue!
The sale of the game would go through Amazon. "Partnered streamers who opt-in to the program and play games from Twitch publishing partners will earn 5 percent of the revenue generated from their stream."
I hope the Allies consider this. If there's a game you're already going to buy and the Allies are streaming it, everyone wins by purchasing it through Twitch. Of course, I don't know if it's worth completely opting in on this, only the Allies know. I trust their judgement and if they choose not to, I completely back them and trust that it's for everyone's benefit.
By the way, I do not work for Twitch or any company affiliated with this deal. I just thought it would be a great way for the Allies to be supported and for us to continue giving back to them.
Love & Respect,
For Anyone Going To The Anniversary Show
For anyone who wants to meet up before the event itself, feel free to use this thread as a way to throw around ideas of what to do and where to go together to check out in Hollywood.
I'm thinking about taking Munchkin because I feel like that is the best games to take and play with Allies.
This Needs To Be Included In The Next HOTAKE Compilation
I made this quick GIF from the most recent Frame Trap (Frame Trap - Episode 22 "Horror, Hype, and Video Games") because I could not stop laughing at Brandon's reaction.
Hope you all enjoy!
I tweeted it out to them. Hope they like it!
RE: Your most played games in the last 4 years
That's quite the list!
I remember playing Guild Wars for hours on end every day. It was my first MMORPG and I still think back to how wonderful it was with the group of people I met online. I've always wanted to get into Guild Wars 2 but I heard that It was very different from the first and that kinda pulled me away.
RE: Video Game Comfort Food
I would probably have to say Destiny.
If anything is really going on that I just want to relax from, I usually pop in Destiny and just grind away at the checklist.
Bloodborne got it's hooks in me pretty deep to the point where it almost became that but I have yet to go back and finish the game. Once I do, I want to dive into Dark Souls.
Maybe those might become my new comfort food.
