Swords (by Ian Hinck)
In case some of you didn't know, Ian has started a Kickstarter for a Card Game, Swords.
I backed for the base game, but of course, you do you, and do as you please. Just thought to let the fine people here on this forum know that this is real, and it's happening. L&R.

RE: What's Your Most Memorable Boss Fight Allies?
I remember my first time fighting Ultimecia on FF8... I just brute forced the fight without having Lionheart on Squall (I had his second best weapon on him...punisher?) and without having Eden, because it was my first time playing the game, and I refuse to use any guides on my first playthroughs on games. Anyways, in the last form, I had only Zell and Squall alive, and I managed to pull amazing combo on Zell's Limit Break, and that was enough to win the fight. Afterwards when I read some guides on how to win the fight, I laughed, Hard.
RE: Selective Creation: Make the Best NES/SNES List!
@TokyoSlim Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy VI. Epic Squaresoft Trio, of which all three still hold up to this date. These games are some of the best of the entire RPG genre.
RE: Nintendo learnt nothing - Overview of the announcement
Here's the thing: I think most people here want Nintendo to do well, and succeed. I don't think that anyone here wants Nintendo to fail, and drop out of the console market. Because when Nintendo makes some of their best games, they are DEFINITELY some of the best games ever made. If you look at the list of best platformers, it has plenty of Mario titles (And few Donkey Kong titles) for a very good reason. If you look at the list of best adventure games, Zelda franchise holds many spots on that list. Some of those games hold up in most of best games of all time lists (Just as a example, Ocarina of Time was the EZA community game of all time)
Yes, Nintendo could end up just making games for other platforms, but then again, Nintendo is pretty much last innovator in console market, and taking perhaps unnecessary risks for making progress in the industry. If they stop making consoles, it might be that we will not see as much innovation in gaming outside some Kickstarters, which are sketchy at best usually. Yes, Innovation might not be the smart way to go, but some of those might pay off. Because that is something that most people might not realize. We think we know exactly what we want, but if someone brings us something completely new we didn't even think of before, might just be the thing we actually needed or wanted in the end, we just didn't know that before we got it.
Seeing Nintendo to drop the ball so much, and making nonsensical decisions, hurts us, and that's why we're complaining. Not because any of us HATE Nintendo (I think anyway), but because we CARE. Hopefully things will go well for Nintendo, and we'll see a lot of good things coming in the following months. But as of now, things don't look that promising.
RE: Selective Creation: Build the Best Nintendo List There Is!
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door
Super Mario Bros. 3
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy VI (III in NA... and EU?)
The World Ends With You
One of the better not-so-hidden gems of DS library. Phenomenal Combat, great soundtrack and has one of my all-time favorite characters in it, Sho Minamimoto.
RE: Selective Creation: Make a New Millennium List!
After long wait, I shall come to fix my error...

There, happy now? (no, you're not, but whatever.)
Sorry this took so long, as I added Skyrim on before I went to sleep, and I only got back here after a long day in school and then I drove 200km to spend a weekend with my friends... Also, I wasn't thinking too much when adding Skyrim, and didn't pay too much attention to the rules... Sorry guys.
RE: Kill Your Babies!: Massacre the Multiplatform Titles!
@CGamor7 I just killed what I seemed to be unworthy to continue forward, and they just happened to be your games. I didn't check who added said games on the list, because that doesn't matter to me.
BUT when it comes to Burnout 3, that game is actually really great fun, And to this day it's one of the few racing games that I actually like. I don't like racing games at all, unless it's something like Burnout, Demolition Derby etc.
But yay, Arkham Asylum made it to the Final two :D But the game it's against is also a great game, Not because of gameplay or graphics, but because of the Storytelling. It is a game that I recommend everyone to play, because that story is THAT good. And every single goddamn reporter who blame videogames for violent behavior needs to play this game. (And to see the actual studies that clearly showcase that videogames don't have correlations to violent behavior.)
RE: LGBTQ+ Allies!
Even though I'm a straight man, I have no issues with LGBTQ+ community, in contrary, I actually dislike people who are against LGBTQ+ community. I feel like there is enough hate and other b-shit in the world without having to hate on people based on their sexuality (or on race or any other trait for that matter).
What I've said to many of those who are strongly against LGBTQ+, is that "What do you lose because of them being who they are? It has literally no affect on your salary, bills or anything else, so why would you take away their happiness? Just because some old book says so? Times have changed since then, and people need to realize that, so just be kind and let them be. You don't have to be one of them, or treat them in any special way, just treat them as you would any other people, because that's what they are. And they too shall treat you just as well in return." or something among those lines, and ended up having few people realize that.
RE: Selective Creation Exhibition: Pick the Best Mini-games!
Triple Triad (FF8)
Poker (Red Dead Redemption)
Desert Island Escape (Animal Crossing: New Leaf)
Hostess Club Manager (yakuza series)
Fighter Manager/Trainer (Yakuza 4)
Liar's Dice (Red Dead Redemption)
Tin Pin Slammer (The World Ends With You)
I know I might be one of the only people on this planet who likes this, but heck, I still say it's fun :D
RE: Selective Creation: The Greatest Dungeons in Gaming!
Heaven - Persona 4
Kamoshida's Castle - Persona 5
Shinra HQ - Final Fantasy VII
Durlag's Tower - Baldur's Gate
The Darkest Dungeon - Darkest Dungeon
Goron Mines - Twilight Princess
Deep Dungeon - Final Fantasy Tactics
Sae's Casino - Persona 5
Victory Road - Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire
Infinite Dungeon - Ancient Domains of Mystery
Dragon Roost Cavern - The Wind Waker
Snowpeak Ruins - Twilight Princess
Mana Fortress - Secret of Mana
Sen's Fortress - Dark Souls
Stone Tower Temple - Majora's Mask
The Old Way - TES IV: Oblivion
This is the path you have to take into the Imperial Palace in the last quest of the Thief's Guild storyline of Oblivion. And it is actually pretty darn good. Well, I like it anyways, I'm sure plenty of you disagree.
