      Creed 2

Rocky IV is one of my personal favorite films (even with its 80s cheese lol) , so it was super cool to see them revisit that portion of Rocky lore. Strong focus on family and humanizing even the opposition. Will add it to my personal collection.

    • RE: Spyro Reignited Trilogy (PS4/XBO)

Small nitpick - Remastered Electrolls in Hurricos sound off. In the original, their voices were straight up Spongebob calm voice. Absolutely loving playing through these again though! It's one of those instances where the world's are exactly as my 10 year old mind imagined

    • RE: Selective Creation Exhibition: Pick the Best Mini-games!

@logic__error it was slightly amusing seeing a live edit to oh snap, did he post, and then the updated list.

This of course was after me editing my own post because I accidentally copied/pasted the entirety of the thread lol.

      I Am Setsuna OST-Immovable Object

As a person who dabbles in trying to play video game music on the piano, I love most of Setsuna's soundtrack.

    • RE: Describe Your Taste in Games Using Only 5 Titles!

      Final Fantasy X
A love of jrpgs. It was a close tie between X and Mario RPG. But I'd say X has a slightly closer place in my heart. I'm even going through it right now for my probably 5th or 6th time.

      Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
      Good ol' Nintendo action adventure.
With an occasionally creepy psychedelic twist. Talk about meaningful sidequests!

      Assassins Creed 2
Encompassing the open world genre. I could climb towers for days. (Maybe only a few at a sitting though :p)

      Metroid Prime 2
Besides Goldeneye, one of the first fps I can remember playing. Definitely left a favorable impact. Also had some great puzzles.. I'm including Metroidvanias in here too. It's not a 2D one, but it does have the name in the title lol.

      Life is Strange
For the modern story driven adventure games.

    • RE: What Are You Listening To?

Ive been listening a lot of Jordan Rudess for the past while. He's the keyboardist for Dream Theater, but has also released a few of his own albums over the years. Some with purely piano pieces, both original and covers of non piano songs. Others being progressive rock. I could almost imagine them in a Mega Man game lol. Here's two tracks from the album Feeding the Wheel. Enjoy!

      Hatoful Boyfriend

      Rock Band 3

The music party game. What more needs to be said.. I personally think 2 may have had more hype behind it at the time, but 3 was still an amazing culmination of rock music and innovation. I remember months worth of weekends jamming out with friends!

I'm gonna go ahead and be "that" guy. Yellow was my first, and it's certainly a beloved game, but it doesn't age the best due to it's lack of streamlined features.

    • RE: Great games with bad openings?

I'll have to say Dragon Quest 7. The original takes what seems like hours til you get to your first fight. And from there, another dozen or so til you unlock the fun that is the class system.
