And I haven't actually played the game! It's been in my backlog for years, but now I'm hoping it'll be re-released on the Switch.

I've got six episodes to go before finishing off the first season of Re:Zero. It's only been okay so far tbh.

I recently watched Ping Pong: The Animation though, and that was incredible. The art style was a turn off at first, but even that grew on me after a few episodes. But yeah -
great characters with pretty awesome arcs.

Yep, I've seen all four seasons. Still clinging onto hope that it could return someday as well. :'( As for favourite players - mainly the usual suspects. Sangmin, Kyungran, Hyunmin, Ahyoung, Dongmin, Yoonsun and Junghyun. I think Season 3 has the best games overall. Middle Race is probably my favourite from the entire show, but off the top of my head I also love the Zombie game, Scamming Horse Race, Open/Pass, etc. The death matches can be pretty hit or miss but there aren't many main matches I can think of that weren't great.

Have you tried The Society Game yet? It's another game show by the creator of The Genius so I've been meaning to give it a go, but I've heard it's obviously nowhere near as good. Really should start it soon though.

Finally got around to seeing Blade Runner 2049 last night. I avoid trailers like the plague these days, so the only details I knew going in was that Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling were in it. I had pretty high expectations given this is Villeneuve, but some major concerns as well because it didn't seem like a film that needed a follow-up.

I was completely blown away. This is easily one of the best sequels ever made. It adds so much to the original. I always like to re-watch movies before giving them a 10...but I'm pretty fucking sure this is a 10/10 for me. I need to see it again before it leaves the cinema.

1. Survivor - I usually get some weird looks for this one! I generally dislike reality TV (although the South Korean game show The Genius is also fantastic), but Survivor is an obsession. The show has evolved over the years to the point where the the 'survival' aspects actually take a complete back seat to the social politics and strategy angle, and that's what I love about it.
2. Seinfeld - Finished this off for the first time only a few years ago, and loved it. Definitely my favourite comedy series. Only Coupling (UK) comes close.
3. Better Call Saul - One of the best shows on TV. Adored Breaking Bad, and I think this is close to getting on that level.
4. Game of Thrones - The quality has really plummeted since the start of S5 imo, but I thought I should include it because I was in love with the series before then. I still follow and enjoy certain aspects of it, but I won't be super torn up when it ends tbh.
5. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Fantastic animated adventure.

Yo! I'm typically more of a lurker than a poster, but figured I should introduce myself either way. I'm a 25 year old guy from Australia. Used to be a regular on the PALGN forums (which died), followed by the RocketChainsaw forums (which died), and then GAF...which doesn't seem worth sticking around on even if it does survive.

As far as GameTrailers goes - I discovered and became a fan of The Final Bosman in its last few months. Continued on with Bosman at Home when Kyle started doing those, and that led to stumbling upon an Easy Allies Podcast around...mid 2016? Been listening weekly ever since, and at this point there aren't many Easy Allies shows that I don't keep up with.

Gaming wise - I'm a big Nintendo fan. Counting down the minutes until Odyssey comes out! Love a good mix of everything though. Some of my favourite games of all time are Metroid Prime, Shadow of the Colossus, Chrono Trigger, Resident Evil 4, Okami, The Last of Us, Fire Emblem 7...and I'm pretty sure Breath of the Wild has cemented a place on that list as well.

Yep, I'm from Gaf as well. Macka there too. I wasn't super active in the Easy Allies thread and only really posted in Nintendo game OT's though. As draining as that place could be at times with all of the political talk - it was always a great resource for news and leaks. That's going to be hard to replace.

Replayed Super Metroid last week. Hoping to finish off Final Fantasy Tactics TWotL before Odyssey drops.

Between Odyssey and Stranger Things Season 2, I'm going to be in full hibernation mode next weekend.
