I was a bit LTTP on it (played earlier this year) but it is a really good experience that brought a lot of memories.
Finished Transistor. I wonder how I managed to keep it in my backlog for so long. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it (and just ruined myself by buying the official soundtrack vinyl). Not sure about how I feel about Supergiant's next game Pyre for now (based on the 20 minutes gameplay online), but I definitely keep an eye on it.
Also played Virginia. Still confused and full of mixed feelings about it.
Pretty lame to "hack" an account. But just for throwing stupid stuff like you're 12... I would have troll people so hard by announcing fake stuff :P (Reboot of FF Versus XIII, Life Is Strange Season 2, FF VII Remake canceled, ...)
Yup, you cannot have a filter like that. Same issue with another similar forum I spend time on, but since it is a smaller community it is less bothering. Maybe there is a plug-in admin can use but that is me guessing things up here.
You can still do a quick "mark as read" on the the topics you're not interested in the new unread selection list by clicking on the avatars though (icymi):
I think I just got my Huber moment :
Like, basically, I don't care about E3 anymore. I'll just watch that trailer until I can play the game.
I basically "discovered" GT when they closed (well, I know them as "they exist somewhere on the Internet"). So I join when they launched their Patreon.
Less than 4 months now, I guess. I became a Patreon like a month after (the time to see what they were offering :P)
I still have my pre-order and it is cool for the Square teams that the game has so good reviews but when I see a "general agreement" about a RPG with a story filled with plot holes and a lot of tedious side quests it feels... weird to see so many 8 & 9s? I hope the good stuff is really good to make us forgive where the game fails.
For Gamekult, you also have to keep in mind that for them 6 is not bad, it is honest. A 6 is a good game worth having in your collection but misses elements for it being on the podium (I am paraphrasing their own website: http://www.gamekult.com/apropos/notes.html). I can get it is not everyone cup of tea and a lof game I love to death are 6 for them (Life Is Strange, Firewatch and Transistor) but the text will always be more important than the grade. The reviewer explain his point of view (which is nothing more than his opinion) well enough for me. Seems like Eurogamer agrees with them.
In the end, the real review will be up by Friday or this week end when a lot of people will have play / finish the game. I guess with FF XV, there is a honeymoon phase due to the wait where everything is nice at first :)
