A total buy. while these games are not the most difficult thing in the world, I am always charmed by the music and the design. This was no different. Loved the demo
Hey everyone, Mazer here and I am a reviewer, livestreamer, and above all else - a gamer. I enjoy the weird and unusual as well as the unique and creative. I was formally on Gametrailers before moving my reviews and streams over to Youtube and Twitch.
I hope you enjoy my content and always feel free to say hello! I always enjoy a good chat :D

Beasty topic! What is your favorite fictional monster/beast/urban legend creature?
Mine will always be tied between the Mothman and the Jersey Devil. Both have such a rich and fascinating history within the towns from which both have originated. It doesn't help that Mothman Prophecies was such a damn good movie which helped spark my fascination.
In terms of mythical creatures: Gorgans were also pretty damn cool. Medusa's story was both horrific and tragic. Makes you feel bad for her.
RE: Anime! Who's watching what?
Nothing at the moment. Waiting for the next season of the dubbed High School Academia to be released on Hulu. Highschool DxD season 4 should be released very soon and I am very excited to get back into that series. I need to re-watch Season 2 and 3 to get ready (Though I heard rumors that Season 4 retcons season 3? Wtf?)
With Screaming Villains re-releasing HD versions of Night Trap and Double Switch; what other FMV video games do you want re-released for the modern generation?
Despite a lot of hate people seem to give the FMV games over on the youtubes, I personally feel these were a very important time in gaming. It was such a strange transition that existed between cartridge and CD-based games and it produced a lot of silly games and a lot of classic games.
I am really hoping they re-release my favorite FMV games: Sewer Shark and Corpse Killer. Having updated, cleaned up versions of those games would make me one happy Mazer :D.
What about you?
RE: Last game you finished
Octodad with it's two side missions. I won't lie - I was not really that happy with the game. The bad controls were funny for the first two levels and then it just got irritating. Plus the wife in the game is the definition of a horrible spouse. I worked my ass off to provide onto her all these cute stuffies and the first thing she does is throw them aside then order me to fix a broken aquarium? AFTER she PURPOSEFULLY dragged me to the Aquarium despite knowing my Octodad fears them and hates them?!
SHE IS SO ABUSIVE TO OCTODAD!
RE: Would you prefer a true sequel to the Blood Omen/Soul Reaver series, or would you prefer a reboot?
@dmcmaster I believe you are correct. I remember reading that Raziel was supposed to find this ancient relic bell or something and ring it at the end of the game. The bell was to wipe out the entire vampire race including Kain but that ending was scrapped completely due to budget and time constraints.
RE: Vlog: Talky Tuesdays with Claire: Weirdest Games We've Played
@oscillator Cubivore was just so outrageous that I had to buy it upon launch (glad I did too considering the damn price it fetches these days). I finally completed the game last year only to discover that in order to get the good ending, you need to mutate into 100 different varieties! So not I gotta do a New Game + to try and turn into the remaining 30 or so while redoing the storyline in order to try and get the true ending.
Such a bizarre game.
Vlog: Talky Tuesdays with Claire: Weirdest Games We've Played
Claire and I kick back and discuss some of the weirdest, craziest, and most WTF games we've ever played. I hope you enjoy.
Would you prefer a true sequel to the Blood Omen/Soul Reaver series, or would you prefer a reboot?
Both games make up one of my favorite franchises of all time. Their narrative is deep, complex, with a lot of lore, backstories, and fascinating characters. I have loved the fact that this franchise lets you play as opposite characters - sometimes as Kain, sometimes as Raziel - and neither one is the true villain. To me, it has always been a shame that we've never reached a conclusion to the franchise.
With that said, would any fans of the franchise prefer the series to be rebooted? To have the storyline tightened and expanded upon (and hopefully conclude), would you prefer an actual sequel that wraps the story up once and for all, or would you like it better if the franchise remains at rest?
