Probably P3 FES(replayed it last year in the summer)
Don't care what anyone says, Aigis is the best "robot learning emotions"-storyarch I've ever seen told in movies or games.
She's also, without a doubt, best girl

Getting my drivers license. I was born with very poor eyesight that only got fixed in my late teens. During my early twenties I didn't have time to get into driving classes/exams and people kept saying I probably would never be able to get it, even my own family. Spend A LOT of money on driving classes and had to take 4 attempts but I did succeed eventually.
Reall digging the overall style of this game. Having a hard time finding anything to compare the environments and character-designs to... Which is great! Combat looks very fluid with some pro-dodging going on. The original Nier still doesn't look compelling enough me, but this definitely has my attention.
Shown at E3: Persona 5, no competition
HOWEVER.... Dragon quest XI, the real successor to my most beloved game -Dragon quest 8- and the one true king is still my most hyped game. 40 million ps4's and an uprising in JRPG's can't be ignored by someone as daft as Squenix. Sooner or later, that Western release date is dropping on us with a new trailer.
If you like playing on a vita, start with persona 4 golden. If you don't have a vita, get yourself a PS TV. They're pretty cheap and you can play the game on a big screen and from the comfort of your coach.
After you finish Persona 4 golden, get persona 3 FES. It's on psn for ps3 as a ps2-classic(God that sounds confusing, thanks Sony). You can also buy it second-hand but ps2-copies seem to be pretty expensive nowadays. If you have a good pc, just run it through pcsx2.
"But Michster why not just get the portable version(persona 3 portable for ps vita/psp?!"
Because I don't trade in gorgeous cinematics, better exploration & immersion for controllable party-members.
P3 FES is amazing, but P4G has better pacing & gameplayoverall I think. The pace does pick up after a few (in-game)months, but once you played P4G, this won't be an issue. Be warned that P3 FES touches on some very dark themes. When you see that opening cinematic showing the text "Memento mori", that's not just window-dressing...
Also P3 FES has one of the best videogame soundtracks ever.
(Just my 2 cents, I respect anyone who prefers P3P over P3 FES.)
(Even though those people are wrong)
Persona 4 golden to get into the whole SMT-universe. Start with something "cute" and inviting.... before you know it you'll be on r/MegaTen yelling "Lulz, haven't even tried Nocturne, Scrub?!" to friendly newcomers.
@ALLCAPS ....but did it make you cry like an anime-fan on prom-night?
(But seriously, it's sad how poor this game is being handled.)
In recent memory? Probably Dragon quest 7/8 western release getting announced during the nintendo direct. It's really hard being a fan of the series as long as it's under square-enix its rule and absolutely no info for years.
DQ8 is my favourite of all time so getting that sweet 3DS-version with new content after the shitty mobile-port was a moment of pure, unrelenting joy for me. :)
@Hoken You can sell all treasure. When pieces of treasure can fit into one or the other, it will usually state quite explicitely in the description.
Also: get the Red9
Still adore this game. The pacing is perfect, the weapons feel great, nice enemy-design, campy villains, interesting locations...

Made some funny out of it ^^. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhDsE97Lw88
Nicely edited, got a chuckle out of me! :D
Bloodborne 2:
This time with 60fps
that's all this industry needs
No, really. I'm serious.
He's great fun to watch/listen (to), but he probably already has a ton of work? Did Jones mention in a cup of Jones that Brad does a lot of editing?
No. To me, it has the same problems as all the other Uncharted games.
-> Wonky shooting with bland guns
-> Easy climb-sections take up 60% of the game. Not very engaging gameplay imo since it's hard to fail at these things.
-> Boring enemies, "meh" melee combat.
-> A story akin to Indiana Jones only with less interesting characters and a boring villain.
-> Easy puzzles
What I did like:
-> Shiny graphics
-> Some of the chase-sequences
Overall:
To me, it's better than uncharted 2, but that's only due to this game not having such an annoying final boss nor does it have the same BS-enemy hordes. Seriously, I can't stress enough how annoying and shitty the final boss of Uncharted 2. If it didn't have that, it would the best game in the series without question.
It's an 8 out of 10. Fun while it lasts, but doesn't leave any impact nor want for a sequel.
(Just my opinion, if you adore these games: good on you)
Ain't got many CE's of games, but I do have these:
Can anyone tell what my favourite 2 franchises might be? :p
Shows of environments & monsters & actual gameplay
Has a kickass song
That musical queu when your hunter takes out the scythe and the music holds for just a second...
Another example
Showing off cool new environments & weapons all while that incredible song is rising in the background.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Beyond Good & Evil
South Park: The Stick of Truth
From Dust
Rayman Legends
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Outland
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Anno 1404
Rayman 2 the great escape
Very dissapointed this wasn't in the list yet allies. :s This is one of the greatest 3d-platformers ever made with fun characters, good level-variaty, fun platforming and you get to ride a rocket!
Okami HD.
This game already looked gorgeous on ps2, but seeing it "upscaled" on a giant hd-tv... Loved it soooo much I decided to just go ahead and collect/see every possible thing on the checklist. :D Followed up by Budokai HD collection(which was ROBBED of the original awesome music, still can't believe they did that), dark souls 2, Bloodborne(God, I loathed those chalice dungeons)
Usually don't care too much about trophies, but some games give me that thought of "Right, I adore this game. Time to do EVERYTHING possible and see how hard that is."
Persona 3 wiping all out all night.
Baby-baby-baby-baby!
Love the coulour-scheme and that androgynous beauty. :3
Just someone going through their day, but I find it to be very soothing
No, this is not cheating.
