RE: Vote for the forum's GOTY 2010!
Episodes From Liberty City was released on disc for the 360 in 2009 and ported to the pc/ps3 in 2010 so for sure it is not eligible for 2010.

RE: Last game you finished
I played through Final Fantasy X for the first time (PS4 version).
Pros:
- Battle system is fantastic
- I like how every character (except for maybe Kimahri) is very useful in battle
- It's one of the few Final Fantasy games in which I liked summons
- Boss fights are great
- The soundtrack is great
Cons:
- Tidus
- Sphere Grid is pointless busy work, what's wrong with just leveling up through XP? The Sphere Grid does allows you to customize your characters and multiclass but other FF games have done that in much more interesting ways than this.
- Linear level design
- Tidus
- You only get an airship when the game is pretty much finished
- Even without doing sidequests and without any extra grinding you can get really overpowered near the end of the game, mostly because of the customizable weapons
- Tidus

Some games I purchased in the last few weeks

RE: Favorite Video Game Music of 2020
I really love Crash 4's soundtrack.
It doesn't rely too much on nostalgia but when it does remixes of the old games it does it pretty great.
This game is like the DKC: Tropical Freeze of Crash games =D

RE: Biggest Criticism of Your GOTY games
Sekiro.
The difficulty is all over the place with this game. Especially the gab in difficulty between the boss fights and everything else in the game. Like, it's pretty "easy" for the most part and then you do 30 times on one boss.

RE: What's your current gaming setup?
I'm going to redesign my game room this winter because it's a mess.
I will make pictures again after I finished :)My PS4 and Switch are in the living room.

Everything from the past two weeks or so.

RE: Which Wii/WiiU Games Should Make the Switch?
Skyward Sword.
All the remasters of Zelda have been pretty good about getting rid of the most frustrating aspects of the games. I'd like Skyward Sword to get the same treatment because there's a lot to improve here. -
RE: It was the best of times, and the last Metroid is in captivity.... A thread of the best opening lines in games.
Long long ago, there was a man who try to make his skill ultimate.
Because of his bloody life, it's no accident that he was involved in the troubles.

RE: Last game you finished
@faaip said in Last game you finished:
Just finished up Super Castlevania IV on the SNES Classic. This was the first game in the series I've played and I can see why its so highly revered. Great controls, level design/variety, music/sound effects and a challenging difficulty that remains consistent and (mostly) fair throughout. Overall I had a great time playing and found it immensely satisfying each time I progressed through a level or beat a boss. I'll have to track down some more games from the series for sure
I'd recommend you to not skip Rondo of Blood. It's often overlooked because it has not ben available on many platforms but it is coming to the PS4 pretty soon and it is actually regarded as one of the best games in the series (and if you'd ask me, it's the best).

RE: Gaming Accomplishments
Well, I've beaten all numbered Gradius games and Gradius Gaiden ^^
3 > 2 > 4 > Gaiden > 5 > 1 is how I would rank them in terms of difficulty. Or atleast that gave me the most troubles.
2 > 5 > Gaiden > 1 > 3 > 4 is how I would rank them in terms of enjoyment.
