Once a former moderator of the old Gametrailers website, (RIP).

He's glad to be back at EZA though, and proud to help the community grow and be one of the most awesome it can be on the web!

      @dipset

I definitely agree CoD 3 is among the worst in the series, though I think it's also among the most interesting just since its from the very early days of activision playing hot potato with developers. CoD 3 does some goofy interesting things by trying to rip off battlefield with class based multiplayer and vehicles.

I have some fond, albeit janky memories of the game, but I wouldn't suggest it on it's own merits.

      Ah yes BLOPS : Declassified...

It came with my Vita as a pack-in so I think of it with a kinder disposition, but it's definitely not great.

Graphics are quite good, but the non-shooting gameplay is a bit slippery and Veteran difficulty is just plain impossible. I've beaten CoD 2, 4MW, and MW2 all on Veteran before, but you're just at too much of a disadvantage on the Vita's native controls. (Part of me curious how it handles on a PSTV with a PS3 controller)

The story is non-existent, and the presentation is pretty sparse outside of the gameplay.

Like if you paid a full 40 bucks for the game on Vita, you'd have a right to be upset or to score it poorly

    • RE: GT Twitch backup request.

I can't speak with certainty that you'll find the episode you're looking for, but this is what I could dig up, sadly I didn't keep too many tabs on the effort in that period post GT.

You might find a more comprehensive archive listing elsewhere if you dig deep enough on a site like reddit or neogaf from that time or ask around maybe on the EZA facebook group. I'm certain someone somewhere has gigabytes of footage on their harddrives

As has often been suggested, try just clearing your cache and cookies and see if that doesn't fix the issue

    • RE: Final Fantasy XVI

@naltmank FF14 generally borrows from multiple FF games and incorporates major references to those previous games by twisting the material to fit FF14.

The FF3 reference comes about with the fact that there's a crystal tower raid, and you fight Xande and the cloud of darkness, the big bads of FF3.

They definitely name drop or incorporate lots of classic bosses throughout FF14 in general, but FF3 did receive a bit more attention than others.

    • RE: GT Twitch backup request.

Yeah the rapid closure of GT followed by the destruction of DEFY media and subsequent purchase of GT by IGN has made archival efforts to wrap up the old stuff quite hard :<

There were however several efforts to archive and backup many of GT's old content. I'm not sure how much of it has survived post IGN purchase, but it may still be out there

    • RE: EZA Community Showcase help. Calling on ALL community members. Kyle? No peeking.

Neat idea. Fortunately I don't think Kyle comes round these parts too often, (though he has made appearances in the past) he tends to mostly haunt the Patreon and comments sections of videos in hunt of those juicy corrections

    • RE: Looking for a DMing story

This premise reminds me of an early episode of Puffin Forest:

      Youtube Video

Having a quest giver betray the party is one way to partially motivate things, alternatively innocuous albeit important objects can be given more weight as time goes on with story telling and character observation and interactions
