Live in the south of the UK.
The best games I treasure are those which allow to me reflect on myself or to feel emotions I rarely get to experience.

dota 2 is a fairly old game. What G-card do you have and can you select Direct x 9 or 10 when you play the game?

An active forum begins with you and is followed by us.
I work late so often I am about mostly on weekends. However, I think Twitter is often the best place for community interaction although I find it can be restrictive but that's the nature of Twitter because of the large community it has.

Maybe I'm wrong but wasn't the entirety of Soul Reaver 2, everything they didn't have time to finish for the first game?

I recall reading the developers of Soul Reaver 2 were overwhelmed by time constraints and under delivered based on their own expectations. It was a small development team against the clock. Wiki goes on to explain certain features were simplified or just weren't included. The fighting was one dimensional. That's not to say it's a superb game. The developers just could have done with more time to deliver the experience they intended from the beginning. We see it all the time in games.

Numerous Zelda Dungeons have found themselves in other iterations of the franchise for the exact same reason. I'm looking at you, Windwaker.

    • RE: Vlog: Talky Tuesdays with Claire: Weirdest Games We've Played

In terms of games I've played. I always thought the Warioware series had a peculiar sense of humour to it. It stood out as an odd game but It was innocent and different. It certainly stood out as a game as a result.Picking your nose as a mini-game. Who would of Thunk .

      Interesting list though, Mazer.

Reboot followed by a sequel. The reason for this is so players new to the franchise can experience the original with a fresh new lick of paint and ideas which may have been scrapped from the original and to give old players a reason to jump back into the series and enjoy it again. Feed that nostalgia.

      Followed by a sequel. :)

@orthrus The combination of "Half-Life" and "co-op" has me jonesing for the good ol' Sven Coop days.

I've been looking for a a nice co-op game to play with my Friend Claire, on weekends. I'm going to install this gem.
I remember it being a short but sweet game. Shame Gina and (I can't remember the second character's name) didn't get mentioned in the later series.

    • RE: Reason for Bans

Back in the day, I use to trawl through the xbox forums reading the appeals and the moderator responses as to why they got banned. It was a great laugh. 100% of the time the appeals failed.

Expanding off what tokeeffe mentioned about the bots, and without trying to derail the topic. It's my belief bots are the cloak and dagger enemy of the 21st century. They are underestimated and aren't being treated serious enough. Just look at all the controversy on facebook, reddit and twitter bots have caused. The the end of 'My2Cents'.

I honestly don’t think Half Life has any duds. I played Half Life Source in 2012 and was blown away by it. I might like it more than HL2.

Went through the whole series, expansions like Blue Shift. Loved them all.

Half life: Decay! First true FPS co-op experience I ever had on the ps2 and one of my fav games. The game is out there for PC to install to this date.

    • RE: [Official] What are you playing?

I'm losing interest in PC games in general and finding it hard to get into a game. A lot of them are competitive and just attract the worst the online community has to offer.

To rekindle my passion for gaming I'm playing a solo experience, FF IX! I'm not one for RPGs but the pacing of the story keeps it fresh and driving forward. The graphics and imagination behind each level is inspiring and feels akin to a Hayao Mikyazaki film, with the blend of steam punk and magic combination which just blends together so naturally like ice cream and waffles.

      One of my fav's.
