Feel free to add me. First Nintendo console in a while so this whole Friends Code is a bit new to me. Mainly playing Zelda at the moment but will be picking up splatoon 2 when it launches next month.
My most recent purchase is Horizon Zero Dawn. Only about 5 hours into it, but loving it so far. I'm particularly looking forward to the different types of machines and working out how to take them down. Most games give you a bunch of weapons for novelty value, but I then simply rely on the same one throughout. (Ratchet and Clank springs to mind). This does not feel like that at all and I'm already thinking about how to balance my upgrades over the different weapons.
I desperately want a Switch but just cannot justify it at the moment (currently in the process of buying my first home, so it's low down on the list of "essentials" haha). Hopefully Nintendo will continue to support the Switch and produce many more quality games such as Zelda BOTW so by the time I do get one I'll have a host of games to work my way through!!
@GoTaco I guess I can see what vibe they were going for. I guess for me it was simply incomprehensible how I was going to get through it without gimmiking the game (throwing a stone to methodically draw out one at time, for example).
It probably says more about my gaming skills than the developer, and in hindsight it does at least say "Calm down lad, this isn't your normal CODfest. You will die, until you start working for your victories" haha
Just finished Firewatch after waiting (patiently) for a sale to bring it near the £5 mark. The moment it appeared in the Double Discount sale I snatched it up straight away.
It's a really good "one and done" game and the ending (whilst controversial) I thought was thought provoking and refreshingly grounded, especially in this era of super powered characters.
I'm now moving back to Zelda BotW to slowly continue working my way through that.
