    • RE: The EZA Community Top 25 Best of 2018!

      Suuuuch a good racing game! I was a huge fan of Need for Speed for such a long time, and never really got into the more "simulation" heavy racing games like Forza or Gran Turismo. I largely ignored the Forza franchise, even with the release of the Horizon games, and it wasn't until Forza Horizon 2 came out for free with an Xbox membership that I gave it a chance. I was quickly enamored, and after seeing the gameplay of Horizon 4, I decided I was all in and purchased the game at launch. Needless to say, Bloodworth's review was spot on, and now I am a true believer in Forza! What a dynamic and genuinely fun racing experience! I am a sucker for customization, and that coupled with the more arcade style of racing (compared to normal Forza games) and the beautiful and varied tracks, I can say I am fully invested. Horizon 4 strikes that perfect balance between realism and arcade fun. If you've been toying with the idea of playing it, I highly recommend giving it a chance.

    • RE: Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PS4/XBO/PC)

      Well I finally finished AC Odyssey! 116 hours, level 52. What a journey that was. I gotta say, despite most opinions out there, I really enjoyed the adventure as Alexios, and having Kassandra in the other role just felt right to me. I can't imagine my Odyssey being any other way. Its hard to remember the last time I played a game for over 100 hours and was totally invested throughout. It was so satisfying to get the ending that I wanted, especially considering I did not follow any guides or make any choices that conflicted with what I naturally would have done. My Odyssey took a natural path to the "best ending". The story was solid and I truly found myself caring about the characters and their struggles.

      It feels good to put this game into the history books. I may pop back in for some DLC or just to complete some side missions, but I think its time to move on for now, and I really couldn't be more satisfied with what I got out of AC Odyssey. Definitely one of my favorite games of the last few years.

      @ffff0 Just finished the volcanic islands questline... It was so goooood! You weren't kidding. What a payoff! Every part of that questline, from start to finish, was top notch. At this point I think I can safely say I like Odyssey even better than Black Flag, which is one of my favorites. Well done Ubisoft.

    • RE: [Official] What are you playing?

      Currently playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey on Xbox One and really enjoying it so far. I haven't had this much fun with an AC game since Black Flag. On my PC I have finally taken the time to jump into Subnautica, and I am loving that as well, despite the almost constant anxiety and terror it causes me!

    • RE: Hades (PC) {Early Access}

      @ozymandsss Way ahead of you! I didn't mention it but I picked it up the same day I got Bastion. I think I spent less than 10 bucks for both of them. Definitely excited to give both games a try.

    • RE: Any 2018 games you want but skipped till later?

      Biggest one for me would have to be Hitman 2. I had Hitman: Blood Money on PC back in the day and I loved every minute of it. I took a break from the series, but after watching EZA play and watching Huber take out Sean Bean, I am really interested in making some time for this new installment. Unfortunately (and this is a good problem to have) I am still deep into AC Odyssey and I have RDR2 installed and ready to go, so my time is spoken for in the foreseeable future.

      @ffff0 OOOOhhhhhhh.... Sorry I misunderstood. I thought you were referring to something smaller that I had missed. I am right in the middle of that particular questline, and am enjoying it immensely so far. I didn't realize that is considered a "side quest".

      @ffff0 How do you go about initiating that questline? I have played quite a bit, am at lvl 47 and have done a lot of side missions, but I'm fairly sure I don't know what you're referring to. Do you remember where you spoke to the initial quest giver?

      @Ozymandsss I will definitely take that advice. I am not the type of person who can play multiple games at the same time and stay engaged (with the exception of games like Forza, which I can jump in and out of at any time), and so when I start RDR2 I will want to give it my full attention. Also I will try to take what you said about Pyre into consideration.
