@Dragonhunter I'll have to keep an eye out for that problem. I may be talking out my arse, but maybe a metal bolt is too heavy? Build quality is a big problem for me with DS4. The sticks are just too easily worn away. I believe the new sticks look slightly different so maybe they're better. I prefer the DS4 over other controllers, but they don't feel solidly built. Hopefully the new one is sturdier.

@ZyloWolfBane It would be the same thing as New Leaf, except the Shopping District is like maybe 8 times bigger and is a multiplayer hub hosted on a server. You can meet random people and make friends, or your friends can hop on the same server and chill out together. Of course an offline city will be available if don't have an internet connection and you need to buy stuff.

Started with 4e DnD like 3-4 years ago, super easy and cheap way to get started, didn't need a ton of books and the few you did need where paperback and affordable. That version was also really streamlined to make playing and first getting started really easy. After that our group kept noticing Pathfinder books at the game store we'd go to. Got a starter box and have been playing pathfinder ever since. I like Pathfinder a lot, but its much more rules heavy then 4e and I assume 5e. It's an off shoot of 3.5 and they have a ton of different campaigns and stuff. Kinda miss the simplicity of DnD but Pathfinder is really fun and cool

There was a brief attempt at GT to try a 24 hour stream channel where they'd have revolving content from the past and present play, though I'm not sure what happened with that.

OT: In my Bethesda Polemon title, there is a major plot twist if you have good karma where you can offer Team Rocket your allegiance in which the leader quests you with doing what you have to do to steal the Pokemon from your companions in your party and hand them over to him. Then your own Pokemon turn on you for doing something evil and you can either tame them into submission or VATS them into oblivion.

No, I think spoiler tag keeps it blank. Though I'm talking about if an entire thread is tagged spoiler. The posts inside shouldn't need to be spoiler tagged, but they'll have to do something to keep it out of the preview.

. . Moment: Episode 19 - Pomper convincing the Sailors to work with him Attribute Check: Charisma Roll: Nat 1 Outcome: Martin yells out, "We need to get him before he gets us!" A pirate behind Pomper bashes him from behind, but Pomper is not easily taken out due to his thick dragonscale. "I mean you no harm! Don't attack!" says Pomper. A couple more sailors join in the attack. Pomper uses his shield to deflect any damage. "I don't believe that all of you want this. Why don't we put this up to a vote?" says Pomper as he skillfully blocks the attacks. No one answers. "Don't you believe in democracy? In righteousness?" says Pomper. Suddenly, Martin tells the others, "If you're with me, raise your hands." Everyone raises their hands. Pomper is morally defeated. To be ousted by the men he had just saved. Even though he's being attacked, he could not fight back the men who are just being fearful. Pomper takes out his mace, and the attacking sailors stop and step back. Martin yells, "I told you he was going to kill us!" Pomper mutters, "No." The sailors look confused. Pomper continues, "I believe in democracy. If all of you don't trust me and want me gone, so be it. I can tell none of you are murderers, but all of you are afraid, so this is what I will do to ease your fears." Pomper takes the mace and bashes himself in the head. Pomper drops to the floor unconscious after hitting himself with enough for to knock himself out. After a while, Pomper wakes up. His equipment is gone, and the sailors are nowhere to be seen. He thinks to himself that at least they weren't killers. He surveys the area and sees the footprints of the sailors heading into the jungle, then, suddenly, he hears a scream. It was a familiar scream coming from the jungle. It sounded exactly like one of the sailors. With his will tempered, he sets off into the Jungle. "I will save them."

Actraiser: such an odd mix of genres that shouldn't work but does. I played it through again recently. Still love it. Super Metroid: Just reiterating Frame Trap and the OP, but yeah. Favorite game of all time. F-Zero: One of the launch titles for the system and the flagbearer for Mode 7 tech. Yoshi's Island: One of Nintendo's most perfect platformers. FX licensing issues would probably kill this one, sadly, and bundling the GBA version isn't quite right for the product. Nintendo needs to just fix this.

@Dirokia We're not really talking about feedback like telling them what to improve. I'm mainly pointing out where to submit questions for Q&A and all that.

@Whoaness Just talk to the NPCs if you don't know what to do. Wiki is 100% not required. Saying it's not a real game because it isn't linear like Starbound is so backwards. You get some of those ores as drops from enemies, and the rest you mine in small spread out pockets. You're not constantly just mining unless you choose to. You follow random pregenerated caves full of enemies, hazards, traps, and treasure. Starting with a pickaxe is just to help you get going. It's not hours and hours of ore grind like Starbound when you're digging for no reason other than to make the next tier of armor. I don't know about that alternative ore vendor, so maybe that helps, but every single time I've played it's turned into a massive cycle of grinding for ore that takes hours upon hours. I imagine that vendor is probably so expensive that it's still faster to mine for hours. The rare chests in Starbound will contain maybe 2-5 pieces of ore when you need like 80 if not more. We're just going back and forth now. Might as well let the people decide. Only reason I've even spoke out against Starbound from the start is that it was such a disappointment, both at launch and years later. Terraria wasn't great in it's early day, but it's become a fine game in the time since. I wish I could say that about Starbound, but the devs actually have no idea what they're doing.

I'm still getting familiar with it too, but I don't think there's going to be much policing on tags or anything. Probably the best thing to do is just to check the tags and use tags that are common or use easy to identify terms like genres and game titles. You also shouldn't need to use more than 3 or 4 tags for a topic. 1 - right in the nav bar at the top is a button that shows all the current tags. 2 / 3 - Not sure. They don't seem to be options in the software at this point. (It's over my head at least.)

The 3D models definitely felt very PS2. Honestly, I think the entire reason Mira and Eric existed were to push some more "sexy teen in B-movie horror" steretypes - psychobitch and useless wimp who turns out to be a psycho respectively. This one's probably the one that could be adapted to a movie/anime easiest because of that. A sequel would be nice if only to strengthen that "okay now go off and find that terrorist!" Ending that was really really flat. Maybe tie in that whole alien nonsense somehow? That whole aspect of the plot came really out of left field to me.

@ffff0 Who said anything about “deserving” anything? I’m not entitled to anything on the show. It could have had the plot of a teletubbies episode. That doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion. If you can’t respond to my points, please don’t put words in my mouth.

Twilight Princess '05 Deus Ex: Human Revolution A trailer needs to take you on a journey. If it does, it doesn't even matter if block-pushing puzzles are part of that journey. I think a trailer can only be as good as its music. The way the music slowly builds in the Twilight Princess and Deus Ex trailers is palpable: You feel it in your bones. I don't usually feel that if the music isn't an original composition for the game, capturing its tone. There's something about the Eidos Deus Exes that makes overbearing narration and Adam Jensen's sheer edginess just work. We totally accept the random 16th century throwback because it fits with what they were going for. Both the Twilight Princess and above Skyrim trailer really try to sell the adventure. You can tell by how they both devolve into gameplay montages near the end. Skyrim shows you nothing but first-person environmental shots at the beginning of the trailer, playing to the worlds Bethesda are known for. It's also neat how they show both the dragon and Dragonborn's perspectives, highlighting their connection and even tilting the camera in time with the dragon's wing beats. They both have really strong endings, too, the Skyrim trailer playing up the natural wonder of respawning dragons. Meanwhile Twilight Princess uses a great zoom to eliminate negative space as Link and King Bulblin charge at one another head-on, giving the audience no room to breathe before cutting to the logo with the lightning. TP also had a bunch of great shots earlier in the trailer, like how they zoom out, de-syncing the camera with Link as he runs into the dark, unknown woods. It helps that Twilight Princess' in-game cutscene direction is still largely peerless in the gaming space.

@Whoaness One of the drawbacks of using pre-built forum software is that stuff like this is much harder to do.
