Besides the EZA stuff I really only listen to Podquisition and We Have concerns regularly. I sometimes check out Dude Soup (the Funhaus podcast) when I get bored as well.

@Nillend I've been a Zelda fan for years - I still think Ocarina of Time is one of the best games I've ever played, however I kind of agree with you that BotW doesn't seem like anything too special.
As shitty as it probably sounds I think Zelda gets a bit of a free pass because of Nostalgia and in some weird way it's almost "expected" that people are excited for it just based on it's name alone.

For me personally I think it comes down to how disappointing Nintendo has been since the Wii days, the only game I can really think of that I really enjoyed a bunch from the Wii / Wii U would be Bayonetta 2, anything else just felt like the same old stuff I've played a million times before which isn't always a bad thing necessarily (I still like Pokemon) but when I'm being asked to sit down and maybe put in 40+ hours just to get the same old "you saved the princess" ending I feel like I could use that time better on something more interesting.

I'm not saying it looks like a terrible game but I do feel like there are so many more interesting games on the horizon that Zelda barely pop's up on my radar. I might feel different as the game gets closer to release and see see a bit more but right now that's how I feel about it - hopefully I didn't ramble too much...

I guess this really doesn't count but the closest I can think of is the rebooted Tomb Raider (first one) where I was on the last level and the level started to glitch a bit but I managed to get to the final goal - only instead of triggering the cut scene the game booted me back into the level and I was stuck running around with no way to progress. I went to reload a save but the game had already auto saved into this glitched area so I couldn't finish the game properly...

I watched the last of it on Youtube and I only missed a quick time event and the ending cutscene but it still annoyed me, from then on I always made sure to have at least 2 save files going for any game I play.

That's tough, I'm gonna go for a top 3 (in no particular order)...

Lucario - I love the way he looks with the Anubis vibe + also a really strong party member
Umbreon - again, just looks awesome but the one I raised is a sneaky fighter who is fun to play and torture people with
Aegislash - is pretty fun to play and looks pretty badass to me at least. Also I got really into breeding in X & Y and he was the first one I bred that way shiny, had a good nature and EV spread. I spent a lot of effort on this one so I got attached guess...

I guess I'm a bit emotionally repressed as I don't really cry but the end of The Walking Dead season 1 really hit me hard (The Telltale game obviously...not the show)

Right now I'm reading The Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski (second book in the Witcher series). Really enjoying it, I love the world of the Witcher so reading these is giving me a deeper appreciation for those games.

I also read a bunch of different comics and manga, some of my favorites right now are...
Manga: Space Brothers, Boku no Hero Acadamia & Shokugeki no Soma,
Comics: Ms Marvel, Saga, Grayson and even though it finished a few weeks back I really liked Batman and Robin Eternal as well.

I read a heap more but those were the ones that popped into my head right now.

The first one that springs to my mind is Ornstein and Smough from Dark Souls 1, those guys beat the heck out of me so many times but it was still a really cool and memorable fight for me, and that feeling when I finally beat them was like nothing else.

Also an honorable mention to the God of War series and the rest of the Souls games, whenever I think of cool bosses I immediately think of these - so many bosses from these games really stand out in my mind.

@Hoken not being able to actually try it makes it a bit scary though to be honest, still I'm super excited to dive in. If PSVR works out well for me then I'll probably look at saving up for a decent PC and get myself a Vive, I've heard a lot of good things about it.
