I love Hollow Knight so much I just had to rock this piece. It's my runner up for GOTY right behind RE 7. It's simply amazing.

RE: "Bad" Games that You Love
With the way the internet's been acting, Mighty No. 9 dripped out of kthulu's @$$hole, riddled with maggots and bubbling in puss. I love the unholy hell out of it though.
Must be how I was raised shrugs

RE: Ally-Made Art
@michemagius Gotcha. If I can give a bit of advice, the trick is shape and understanding the iconography of the silhoette. 2D disney animation really has a handle on these things. I'd recommend you studying some of that stuff in your spare time. The TF2 characters are a great example of what I'm talking about. Their shapes all imply who they are, what their roles are, and how they should feel.
Here's a bit of TF2 fan art I did by the way
dangit...fixed lol -
RE: What Games Do You Think Should Be Remade?
The SNES (best) version of Shadowrun needs a remake bad. I can't believe how many times I've been c*ckteased throughout the years by all of the concurrent shadowrun titles yet the only shadowrun title that comes close to capturing the magic of this gem is the Genesis version.
When I first played Deus Ex on ps2 waaaaaaay back in the day, I considered it a sprititual successor to the SNES classic with it's noire feel and cyberpunk themes. So far, that's the closest to getting what I've been craving. I WANT A PROPER REMAKE DAMMIT!!! Not an fps! Not a turn based tactical RPG! I want an isometric real time action RPG/adventure game like this right here!

RE: I <3 Mecha Games: Zone of the Enders 2
My brother was super good at this joint. When he played it moved like a straight up anime. Always meant to get into it a little deeper but never had the time to. Only thing that kind grinds my gears is are them Phallic-ass "cock" pits. Kojima really needs to stop putting dongs on his bots lol

RE: EZA: Username list! Explain your username!
ZombieProof is the name of the graphic novel series I co-own and illustrate.

RE: Towns That Tell a Story
It doesn't get better than GTA's IV and V's Liberty City and Los Santos respectively. The civil engineering in those games are unparalleled. Nothing else in the industry even comes close. Every corner, every alleyway tells a story that resonates with anyone who's ever walked a city block.

RE: Ally-Made Art
What mediums do you know how to work with?
I work in pencil, photoshop, and clipstudio mostly. It's been ages since I've animated but when I do it's in flashWhen did you start making art?
Ever since I was a wee lad. I started wanting to do it seriously after reading Frank Millers Dark knight Returns in third gradeHow did you learn to make art?
A combination of being self taught and asking the right folks for the right advicesIs there a medium you would like to learn how to work with?
Any and everything. What are your artistic inspirations?
Blade of the Immortal's Hiroaki Samura, Bryan Hitch, Frank Miller,Has your style changed? In what ways?
I have several styles and can emulate pretty much anything in accordance to what the narrative/tone calls for
Here's a few fan art pieces I've done.

RE: [Official] What are you playing?
Lately I've been going through Hollow Knight (goty runner up behind re7) Prey, and the Artorias DLC from DS1.
That Hollow Knight is on some next level metrovania my dudes. Get that bad ass shyte up in you if that's the kinda flavor you're into. It's excellent.
Youtube VideoPrey really got me hooked. It's got that Bioshock feel that I've been missing for a while. The story may not be as on par, but the atmosphere and gameplay are top notch.
Souls is, well, Souls hahahaha. I totally forgot about Artorias DLC until I watched the EZA souls retrospective so Ive been dabbling back into that here and there. Missed getting my dome bashed in lol.

RE: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS!)
Yuck. I really really disliked this movie lol.
A lot of people overlook the fact that Lucas used the works of Cambell's "Hero's Journey" and it's archetypes as a signpost to ensure a base of literary merit underneath all of the sci fi gloss in the original Star Wars series. That's part of the reason why the first trilogy works so well in terms of character. structure, and story. There isn't any wasted symbolism or superfluous razzle dazzle to be found. They were economic films and knew when and how to be both fun and poetic when they needed to be.
hConversely, this new joint is not only devoid of any of that good stuff, it's on par with some of that goofy fan fiction you'd find traipsing about the internet. I'm not one of those fanboys that clings to "legacy" and use that as my yard stick to judge quality. I just dislike badly written story and characters, and this new joint is a Sarlac Pit full of loud, soulless cliches and amorphous story beats hahahaha.
